So, snakes have replaced skulls and Roberto Cavalli has replaced Karl Lagerfeld in my vast trend pantheon.
The whole Cavalli love thang is oddly enough because he dressed up as Karl Lagerfeld for Halloween...and I do have an abiding love for Karl Lagerfeld jeans, but that's an aside point...so I need new sunglasses and between the wicked haute snake and the Cavalli label, I believe that these are absolutely perfect ($450 price tag completely aside). I aspire to being the gucciest. As I sat in my dreary cubicle, reading style.com and drooooooooooling over the new collection and wishing that I was 1 - in milan to see it, 2- fabulous enough to garner an invite to see it, and 3-not sitting in my dreary cube...as I am not the gucciest and it is starting to seem like an unrealistic aspiration, far more simple - I now aspire to own this outfit and to wear it in a non-cubicle enivronment (via Gucci)
