About this list:
so we've bought our first house. problem is, we're decidedly modern & the house is new england colonial. you can't argue with 'good bones' so we'll make it work by combining clean vintage furniture with some traditional pieces. should be our best balancing act yet.
Qualifications:
i'm living it, right now

These are amazing flanking a terrace. There's nothing like a little candlelight, alfresco dining in your own backyard.

Description
I LOVE giant, ruffled clam shells. Better than the ubiquitous coffee table coral - this one is silver leafed & massive. So cool.

Description
This is one of the best looking shelving units i've seen in a long time. The shape is vaguely reminiscent of Orla Kiely & the caning! Ugh! The caning kills me. It looks fresh & modern without screaming 'sleek'. I'm in love.
