Tire Pressure Valve Caps - Set of 4

First to recommend

Description

Ok. One of my new favorite things EVER. Now that temps are silly stupid cold and the roads are often coated with ice and snow, tire pressure has become a pretty big deal to me. Yes, I know I need a life. I believe I've covered that in other recs.

Anyway, the other day as I was at the local station's air machine freezing my fingers off because I'd forgotten my gloves, I realized I'd forgotten to buy a new tire gauge for use in my warm garage. Then I went home and promptly forgot. Again.

Today a friend asked me to do a quick online search while he was at the mall for one and I came across THESE BEAUTIES! Who needs a gauge? Just cast a glance at your wheels and you'll see either a red or green ring depending upon whether or not your tires are at the correct pressure. Lovely stuff!

Available in different psi's. A few different stores have them for the difference of a few bucks. And since proper tire pressure really does save you money at the pump, this is a great resolution to put on the New Year's list!

Ultimate Survival Kit in a Water Bottle

4 people recommended this item

Description

As I was climbing in the back door of my car this morning so that I could get into the front seat and kick open the frozen front door, I started thinking about what might be good to keep in the glove compartment now that the cold weather has hit the Midwest. A flask of whiskey is the obvious choice. More practically speaking, this kit might be handy in a roadside emergency situation...

from the site:

According to the folks who build those awesome rovers that drive around on Mars, water is a pretty essential element for the existence of life. Liquid water is an especially important form necessary to support life, and fortunately for us, we have plenty of that here on Earth. Most other places in our solar system the water is all locked up as ice.

The Ultimate Survival Kit in a Water Bottle doesn't contain any liquid water (but of course you can easily add your own) but that doesn't mean it cannot help support life. What is does contain could help with your survival while you roam around the surface of our planet in search of outdoor adventures.

Comes packaged as a 32 oz (1 liter) water bottle containing the following supplies.

* 32 oz/1L water bottle
* Carabiner
* Multifunction tool
* Multifunction whistle/compass
* Flashlight
* Batteries (2 pcs)
* Survival blanket
* Hand warmer packet (2 pcs)
* Candle
* Box waterproof matches
* Emergency poncho
* 20pc First aid kit
* Reusable zipper-lock bag

OHSO Pocket Toothbrush

3 people recommended this item

Description

A sleek and stylish way to combat that 'not-so-fresh' feeling..... Chamber even holds toothpaste and has a window to show the level.

from the site:
We are all familiar with Q, the man who drops the latest spy gadgets on Bond, and we could picture him giving 007 a toothbrush like the OHSO - except that it would probably shoot flaming poison darts or something. But come on - how practical is a toothbrush that fires poison darts? (Yes, we can see the devious gears in your brain turning!)

OHSO was engineered to be the ultimate travel toothbrush. Besides looking good the OHSO is useful and durable. Toothpaste is stored in the handle for safekeeping and the window shows you how much paste is in the chamber. Turn the knob clockwise and paste is dispensed though the rubber nozzle on the bristle head. Tilt down and paste is delivered directly to the bristles.

Fill OHSO with any type of toothpaste from most tubes. Colgate toothpaste is "plug compatible" with OHSO and a universal adapter is included if your brand doesn't fit.

OHSO will not leak and is easy to refill without making a mess. Except for the small nozzle tip, toothpaste is never exposed to the air. So it should never "gum up" in the chamber. Take off the bristle head, and OHSO is easy to clean with warm tap water. Replace the bristle heads when they wear out. The vented cap provides maximum air circulation for bristle drying.

La Fresh Travel Wipes for Men

First to recommend

Description

La Fresh uses great ingredients like tea tree oil in their products. There is a similar kit for women.

All are airline-approved, biodegradable, individual-use products to cover everything that could possibly be needed after a Mile-High romp.... or just a plain ol' business flight. This will take care of everything from stubble burn to a shoe that gets scuffed on a wall. How that could happen, I do not know ; p

One each of the following:

* Anti-bacterial wipe
* Shoe Shine
* Lens Cleaning
* Shaving Gel
* Men's Deodorant
* Teeth-cleaning Dental Finger Mitt

The Dude: Oh, the usual. I bowl. Drive around. The occasional acid flashback.

What can I say? I'm a bit of a freak for bobble heads. And I liked the movie.
