I own two of these. That's how much use they get at parties. There have been actual LINES that have formed to play. I know, I was a little shocked and disturbed too....

I audibly yelped when I saw this. Big-time crush on the Ford-o-rama back then.... big time.
Tom Spina Designs makes the coolest custom prop-themed furniture in the galaxy. This desk has glowing orange panels topped with a sturdy 1/2" thick glass table top. You just need to contact their design team and this could be yours.
If it was mine, I would sleep on top of it. Every. Single. Night.

There are certain prank gifts that are fun to look at for a minute and then get tossed in a drawer. This gets used. Trust me. This really gets used.
Also great for parties... I like to set up "playtables" all over. You'd be a bit surprised at just how into it people get after a few martinis. No wives have been lost to bad bets yet, but I forsee that happening one of these days....

I confess to being a scrapper... ie I am constantly jotting things down on little scraps of paper that I then promptly lose. All because I'm too lazy to hit a few buttons on my Blackberry.
Thus, while my first reaction to these was to simply smile, a few moments later I started to realize I am actually enough of a doofus (sorry to throw in the highly technical jargon there) to need these.

A party prop extraordinaire. Trust me- toss 'em on a table with some disposable cameras. Then brace yourself- men who have had a lot of martinis tend to feel that exposing a nipple is hysterically funny. And like lemmings, once one goes the partial Monty, the others will follow. These encourage such antics. Take it from my experience.... if I ever write a psyche thesis, it will likely be on that phenomenon.
Thank me when you develop the film. Preferably with expensive chocolate bon bons. Unless you get a disturbing number of male nipple shots. In that case, I warned you.

This is a nifty little google widget from a developer in the midst of a project called The Human Calendar. Basically, it's just a little script that you copy and paste into your blog/social networking site/homepage that displays the date via real people holding up numbers.
It won't solve any of the Top Ten problems plaguing modern civilization but it WILL add a bit of interest to your desktop when you wake up in the morning. And did I mention- Free??
