This is a nifty little google widget from a developer in the midst of a project called The Human Calendar. Basically, it's just a little script that you copy and paste into your blog/social networking site/homepage that displays the date via real people holding up numbers.

It won't solve any of the Top Ten problems plaguing modern civilization but it WILL add a bit of interest to your desktop when you wake up in the morning. And did I mention- Free??

It'll pop your translation right back to you. Yeah, it's nonsense. And IMO, the world needs a bit more of that some days.
