It doesn't take a germaphobe to realize that restaurant things are nasty, nasty. Eat off the floor at home, not where people regulary use the restroom without washing their hands.
Though this is pricey, it is extremely compact and covers the seat and high chair tray at most restaurants. I deem this a must-have!
They also have some adorably, long handmade bibs.

This chair grows with your child, up to 12 years old. How about that for getting your money's worth? I look at those highchair contraptions like they should be wheeled out of some kind space ship...and all that plastic, YUCK!
This is totally modern, yet does exactly what it is supposed to do. Love it! (via Cool Mom Picks)

This CD is really good, even for adults. You know all those CD/DVD's that drive parents up the wall, well this is one that they can enjoy too. One song on here teaches about reducing, recycling and reusing. This man can do no wrong! (via thenewstayathomemom)

A fleece-lined exterior pocket protects a cell-phone and a zip-out side pocket fits a bottle or sippy cup. Ok, there you go! All you need for a short trip!

Here's the deal, you stick these magnets in your washer and use no soap, which elimiates the rinse cycle also. How? Well, it makes sense.
I remember from my chemistry class that soap does not clean, it's the water. Soap just makes, well, it just kind of makes water wetter, which then enables it to get to the dirt better. Soap doesn't clean, water does. So, if these magnets can chemically do to water what soap does, then there is NO reason it wouldn't work.
The website is very straight-foward with a video that shows how it works. There is also a 90-day money-back guarantee, which I would assume people wouldn't even need. This would cut our cost of detergent and water, while eliminating un-necessary packaging, natural resouces in the production, and chemicals in our water. (via Treehuggr)

A few reasons I like this: it is hand-carved (unlike the machine-cut ones I've seen, though they are still adorable), it is not painted (non-toxic), and it's an artful puzzle. Beautiful.
