I'm a sci fi fan, and a Tom Cruise anti fan, so you can see why I'm torn about recommending this movie. On the 'nay' side there's:
1. Tom Cruise
2. Dakota Fanning
3. New Jersey (i got parasites from drinking the water)
On the 'yay' side there's:
1. Tom Cruise's son hates him in the movie. HAHAHAHAHAHA!
2. Aliens. cool.
3. New Jersey (it has its charm)
4. Special Effects of the apocalyptic kind
So you see, the 'yays' out number the 'nays'. Watch on. (via Amazon)

Christopher does Christopher Walken playing a NYC writer, family man who was abducted by aliens and struggles to come to terms with the memory of his abduction and his family's own encounter. This movie is the reason I'll never own an armoire. Creepy. Based on a true story. (via Amazon)

Description

During the presidential election of 1988, a teenager named Donnie Darko sleepwalks out of his house one night, and sees a giant, demonic-looking rabbit named Frank, who tells him the world will end in 28 days, 6 hours, 42 minutes, and 12 seconds. He returns home the next morning to find that a jet engine has crashed through his bedroom. As he tries to figure out why he survived and tries to deal with people in his town, like the school bully, his conservative health teacher, and a self-help guru, Frank continues to turn up in Donnie's mind, causing him to commit acts of vandalism and worse.
