The CarCapsule

3 people recommended this item

Description

From site:

The CarCapsule is a clear vinyl bubble that seals your car, truck, boat or motorcycle away from the elements and keeps it looking fresh and new. Dust, dirt, moisture and insects are locked out, but a built-in fan circulates filtered air within the bubble to eliminate that musty, damp smell that can ruin your stored car. The super-tough vinyl bubble is made from an anti-static, 10 mil PVC. The durable zipper is 100% nylon, so it won’t scratch your vehicle. The CarCapsule is impervious to oil, gas and antifreeze and is mildew resistant and flame retardant. Available in seven sizes to fit most any car, truck, boat or motorcycle. (via thegreenhead)

Han Solo Frozen in Carbonite Desk

Description

I audibly yelped when I saw this. Big-time crush on the Ford-o-rama back then.... big time.

Tom Spina Designs makes the coolest custom prop-themed furniture in the galaxy. This desk has glowing orange panels topped with a sturdy 1/2" thick glass table top. You just need to contact their design team and this could be yours.

If it was mine, I would sleep on top of it. Every. Single. Night.
Sigh. (via thegreenhead)

Just like in the movie Big! What a great addition to... well, to ANYTHING! But then again, for the price, you could hire a herd of real fortune tellers for your events... or just to sit in the corner of the room looking mysterious.

Still. It's awesome. (via thegreenhead)

Moose Mug

3 people recommended this item

Description

They're not cheap but they are HYSTERICAL! A great present for a true fan. Check out the separate link on the site for the punch bowl antlers AND Griswold hockey jersey.

From the site:
In the movie, Clark Griswold (Chevy Chase) and his cousin Eddie (Randy Quaid) drank eggnog from glass moose-shaped mugs (at Clark's house, during the Christmas holidays).

Through Warner Bros., we have determined that these glass mugs were "props" only (fashioned specifically for movie filming). Alas, the glass mugs were never produced for consumer use.

BUT...

Due to a demand for glass moose-shaped mugs, by tourists and movie buffs as well, we have designed our own glass vessels and
they are ready to go!!" (via thegreenhead)

Eatmecrunchy Bowl

Description

You'd have to know how insanely in love with cereal I am to understand how excited I am at the mention of any product engineered specifically for its consumption. No, you're not the first to silently whisper "dork" in your head. I'm used to it.

From the site:
The concept behind this revolutionary breakfast bowl is forehead-slappingly simple. A removable shelf covers 70% of the bowl's base, holding the cereal above the milk. All you have to do is eat your cereal from the shelf-less section of the bowl where the cereal and milk meet, pushing the cereal in as required. Brilliant!

Celebrity Scale

6 people recommended this item

Description

I'm trying very, very hard to justify paying for this as a "decor" item for my guest bedroom's bath. Very hard. Makes me laugh.

From the site:
With these deeply ironic scales you get to compare your weight with the likes of Fozzie Bear, Mr Ed (yes, the talking horse!), Donald Trump's Combover and even the Baby Jesus. Just think, with the Celebrity Weighing Scales in the bathroom you'll be itching to step aboard, not dreading the prospect. After all numbers are so final, aren't they?

Custom Hidden Passageways

First to recommend

2 people recommended this item

Description

Growing up with books like The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, I became obsessed with the lure of secret passageways in houses.

Now there is a company that actually designs such things- bookcases with a secret "book" that acts as a lever, fireplaces with candleabras that, when pulled, reveal a hidden room behind them. Oh my GOD do I find that sexy.

The Creative Engineering team will work with you to custom design just about any configuration of hidden passageways for your home you can think of. Alternately, they have some preconfigured options like dressers with swing out hidden passageways.

Options like fingerprint scanners and other super-cool fantasy faire are all on the menu.

Authentic New York Hot Dog Vendor Cart

3 people recommended this item

Description

I have NO idea what I would do with it but that doesn't seem to stop me from really, really wanting it. Now I just need to find $5500 in the couch cushions to pay for it.

From the site:
This is the authentic hot dog vendor's cart, found on the streets and in the parks of New York City today, continuing the city's robust street food tradition that began in the late 19th century. (via thegreenhead)
