Here's a bright way to add some light into your homes in more than one way. This lamp reminds me of all the ceiling lamps in many of the older homes here in Norway and I love it. It's retro but modern and compliments many of the pieces in our Norwegian home built in 1968.

In Scandinavia our Christmas lighting and decor is very subtle, but the traditional paper/lantern star that we hang in our windows has become one of the latest trends. They're big, bright, and now offer the most amazing colours and patterns. Yes this doesn't have the traditional colours of Christmas but that's what I like about it. The gorgeous design and use of non-traditional colours is very eye-catching and definitely not boring. It has a diameter of 60 centimeters so it's sure to be big enough to grab anyone's attention but still small enough to keep your Christmas decor moderate and tasteful.

I am soooo excited to see Thomas Paul's latest line of lighting. Previous popular designs are now available as wonderful lampshades. Of all my favourites this tall drum pendant lamp still stands out as the most interesting and simple way to add a modern touch to a dark corner. Lighting can really change the mood and impression of a room and what a way to really emphasize it! The only problem is that I can't decide between the blue or the red!
