Garnier Nutritioniste Nutri-Pure Detoxifying Wet Cleansing Towelettes
First to recommend
Description
when i get home latelatelate (or god forbid earlyearlyearly the next morning), all i want to do is flop into bed, but no! every good girl knows that you MUST remove your makeup before bed. MUST! garnier nutrioniste towelettes are much easier to use than all the trouble of actually washing your face with cleanser and water. just snap a towelette out of the pouch, wipe your face, and toss the dirty in the trash.
hey, you're going to have a hangover the next morning for sure, but you don't have to wake up with a breakout.

st. ives medicated apricot scrub

Description
st. ives exfoliating scrub is another one for the drugstore beauty queen! now i know that skincare experts say that an exfoliator should be gentle on the skin without any hard, scratchy particles, but i just can't help myself. i love the feeling of the crushed walnuts and apricot stones scrubbing away all the ick on my face.

banana boat aloe gel
First to recommend
Description
while others may medicate themselves with aloe gel for sunburns, i use aloe gel before i even step foot out the door...as a facial moisturizer!
it sounds weird to use aloe as a moisturizer, but natural aloe has moisturizing properties (which is why people use it for after-sun care). something about it is totally refreshing, and i am not sure why, but it supposedly keeps your skin free of blemishes, unless you are a stress-ball like myself, in which case nothing will help those wicked little stress outbreaks.
i like banana boat because "banana boat" is fun to say, but pretty much any aloe gel will work.

Listerine Whitening Quick Dissolving Strips

2 people recommended this item
Description
For a drugstore/grocery store whitening product, Listerine Whitening Strips has to be the easiest. It's similar to the Crest Whitestrips, in that stick something to your teeth. However, Listerine Strips are JUST the whitening product, which eventually dissolves, so there's no plastic piece that's left on your teeth.

garnier fructis fortifying shampoo for dry hair
First to recommend
Description
like my skin, my hair is dry dry dry, but hair is also my lowest priority in my beauty budget, so i stick with my drugstore beauty queen tendencies when it comes to shampoo and conditioner. i have tried all of them, from $0.99 suave to drugstore-high-end $20 stuff ( i ahve also tried uber high end saln stuff, but that's not the point here). i like garnier fructis because it smells good, and because it's so inexpensive, i don't mind buying a bunch of different "flavors."

Neutrogena Build-A-Tan Sunless Tanning Lotion
First to recommend
Description
Yes, it's turning into the cooler months with fewer, weaker rays from the sun.
SO WHAT? You were wearing a 6" brimmed hat, SPF 250, and long sleeves all summer anyway, right?
Fall and winter is the better time to sport a sunless tan. In summer, you just look orange against all those other people who have natural, pre-cancer tans. However, in the winter, you stand out against all the pasty pale white skin.
Neutrogena Build-a-Tan is what I use now, and even though it smells weird (no matter what people tout as a "light, pleasant odor," know that it stanks), it works to build your tan over the course of a few days, and it's just as good, if not better, than department store lines that cost four times as much.
