¡DIY! Wooden Doormat by Martha Stewart
First to recommend
Description
I really like the idea of this doormat; it's earthy, natural, and simple.
But, I also really like color. If you do too, try painting the wood white first (I recommend acrylic), then paint over with different colors, and finish with a sealant. OR, if you want the best of both worlds, thin some oil paint and do a wash over the boards.
In both cases, I recommend buying small tubes of paint.
See additional photos for examples.
