NARS Sheer Lipstick in Porte Vecchio
First to recommend
Description
This is a lovely dark sheer that gives darker girls a nice neutral effect with a bit of a “kick”. Porte Vecchio (fabulous name by the way!) is a med/dark brown with a red/burgundy undertone to it.
The formula is extremely moisturizing and has a nice sheen to it! I love NARS and this is just one more favorite to add to the pack! This color is perfect for tones from actress Gabrielle Union to fashion model Alex Wek. (via Palacinka)

NARS Duo Cream Eyeshadow Compact, Madagascar
First to recommend
Description
This is a perfect duo for a sweet, natural yet glamorous eye look. One side reads as a pale cool matte champagne color, and the other side is beautiful mauve with some shimmer. I used these colors more at night paired with a shimmery champagne nude lip. The textures are smooth and easily blendable. I used an eye primer first and didn’t experience much creasing or oiliness. The color stayed true and vibrant and I got a lot of compliments on these colors! Madagascar work best from a Lucy Liu complexion to Kimora Simmons. (via drugstore)

NARS Bronzing Powder

Description
I really loved the way the Casino bronzer made me look, like I had my summer tan after a long winter. It doesn't turn orange, there's lots of product in the big compact, and the texture is amazing.
Another plus is it is long lasting. I love the packaging and the big mirror too! a beautiful, realistic bronzer! With just a slight shimmer that can easily be worn day or night. (via nars cosmetics)

NARS Single Cream Eyeshadow Compact, Petula

Description
I have not used cream eye shadows very often, but this particular color had me intrigued. It looked so fresh and springy! The texture of the shadow is smooth and I applied with both fingers and on occasion a cream eye shadow brush, which gave me a slightly more precise application of the color.
On my skin this reads as a light bronze with a touch of peach. Very flattering especially with a dark brown eyeliner and shadow applied over it for a smoky look. The wear was very good (even better with a makeup primer) and the color stayed true during the day. This is a fantastic NARS eye product, and a great color to add to your eye shadow wardrobe. Petula will work best up to about a Jada Pinkett coloring. (via drugstore)

Nars Eye Liner Pencil Manon

Description
Being a NARS fan, I was not surprised that this is such a lovely color (a perfect true purple), but what takes it to the next level of LOVE is that is it so versatile and flattering that I reached for it on a regular basis (and yes I was a former black or very dark blue eyeliner only type of person before this). This color really makes brown eyes pop! Manon is a gorgeous deep blue-based purple.
It's dark enough that you can create a beautiful smoky eye, but vibrant enough to see that it's actually purple (not like a wannabe purple that looks black). It is a tad bit dry on applying, but it lasts very well on me especially with my oily lids. I liked wearing it alone with bare eyes and black mascara, and I also liked wearing it with other NARS purple shadow shades. This will work best up to an Serena Williams complexion. (via Sephora)

NARS Lili Marlene Cream Eyeshadow

Description
This is a very beautiful colour on me. It blends beautifully (if you are not comfortable using your fingers then use with a cream eyeshadow brush) and gives the most gorgeous sheen to my eyelids. The color read as more medium blue than grey with no shimmer on my eyelid. It did crease a bit as the day wore on, but no more than any of my other eye shadows do (I have oily skin) but it did not fade. I found that putting this under some of my other powder shadows (like darker greys and even dark blues), increased their staying power, and changed their dimension in a beautiful way.
I like the packaging also because it's so small and sleek. As for this color, I like that little snap of color on the outer third of my lid, with my brown eyes. I also think it looks great in the crease or over traced over an eyeliner for a more unexpected eye look. By using a skin primer or a dusting of powder underneath, this will help with creasing and staying power too. (via narscosmetics)

NARS Lip Color in Hindu
First to recommend
Description
I like this one! The color is gorgeous and dramatic; in the tube this looks a very dark reddish/black color with sparkle. As I layered it on I found that it was quite sheer fig/burgundy color and yet still had a black cast to it.
I layered it to get the deepest effect possible, but if you want a lighter everyday look, just one layer will do. The wear was very good, but as the lipstick is on the drier side I did need lip balm as a base. All in all, this is for a more intense lip look when you don't want a regular deep red and want a change from a neutral glossy mouth. It will be perfect for those from Nia Long to Serena Williams' shades. (via palacinka)

NARS Belly Dance Duo Eyeshadow

Description
I am so in love with NARS colors, and this one did not disappoint either! This color is a deep metallic green & rich aubergine (perfect for FALL!). The formulations are creamy, smooth and blend very easily. Both colors are very true to what you see in the package – due to the rich pigments in these colors. This is great for an evening eye when you want something smoky, exotic and different and noteworthy, while still looking elegant. I would never normally think of putting a green and a purplish color together on the eye, but I have to say I really liked the change and it looks great on brown or lighter brown eyes as well. For a smoky look I did the green wet as a liner and then did a lighter layer of the purple color on the lid, with a thick coating of mascara which I got a lot of compliments on! (via drugstore)

NARS Eye Duo Eyeshadow in Bohemian Gold

Description
I fell in love with this. It is a baby taupe and salmon duo. The taupe is light and frosty and the salmon color is reminiscent of a lighter version of MAC pink bronze pigment. I paired this duo with MAC gold dusk pigment on the browbone and MAC Accent red pigment in the crease and it made a pretty, sunset effect. I find the NARS shadows give off a very polished, mature but modern, professional look. What I like most is that they are buildable and blend almost effortlessly. The duo has a frosty taupe on the left and a shimmery peach/orange/tan on the right. The taupe side looks very dark in the pan and doesn't look like it works as a highlighter but when applied it lightens up. It also doesn't seem as frosty on the eye.
The right side has shimmer but it is muted so that it doesn't overwhelm. The two shadows blend very nicely together although I didn't think that they would on my face. I like the look that this duo creates. It reminds me of a warm sunny Autumn day because it doesn't have the glitz of summer. This is ideal when you want a neutral eye with a bit of spice if you are darker, and if you are in the Lucy Liu to Beyonce range, this will show much as a much deeper peach/tan and will be equally flattering" (via Sephora)

Nars Cream Eyeshadow in Zardoz

Description
Ok, you absolutely fall in love with an eye shadow. You try it, buy it, take it home, put it on and voila……in matter of hours your wonderful love has faded away, worn off, creased-up, or just plain smeared all over places on your eye that you didn’t intend for it to be in the first place. What happened???? I’ll tell you what happened. You didn’t buy Nars Cream Eye Shadow. In all truthfulness, it’s a “cream to powder” eye shadow. Not only does it stay in place (like most cream shadows), but it stays in place until YOU take it off…..okay? It absolutely won’t crease or fade away. The texture is great. The color is true. Aaaaand, you can wear it alone or use it as a base for a powder shadow…..please!
And wait….there are many colors to choose from, (my fave is Zardoz or ink black) so, you can be a diva in whatever facet you want to be. This product is affordable and lasting. That’s right; a little goes a long way. After searching for what seems like, decades, I believe I have found something that works well, with little effort. Try it, you’ll love it too. Now you can go out and work that look!" (via Sephora)
