Marc Marmel Luggage Collection-The D-Bag

First to recommend

Description

I love the playful fabrics that compliment the well-worn leather look of these bags. I like this one a lot, because it's a bit more structural than some of the others. I like the contrast of the broken down leather with the hard corners, versus the duffles, which give into the crinkled ease of the material. And the little peek of color on the front is nice too, although it seems like the interior of all of these pieces haven an explosion of patterned fabric lurkin just under the surface.

Ringlet Jotter in Wheelie from SusyJack*

First to recommend

Description

What a terrific idea! A little pad of paper, made to fit on your key ring. I write post-its to myself all the time, but then where do I put them? This way I can always have them with me, and never miss a beat. All I need is an itty bitty pen to go with it ;) And I love the design on the cover as well. Great idea, beautifully executed! Printed on recycled paper, with vegetable inks to boot.

There are so many cute tote and reusable bags to choose from, sometimes it seems daunting. I really liked this one though, as a good blend of message and design. It's cute and sedate, but still gets the point across. And personally, I love the color combo.

English Retreads - Sidecar

First to recommend

Description

The thing I love most about my purse is the number of cubies it has. But now my gadgets are out numbering their homes. I need something to keep my new digital camera in, and this little sidecar looks to be a good bet. I like the look, and there's the added environmental plus of it being made from recycled tires, but the hook is what makes it super convenient. That makes finding it a snap, and means I can carry it either inside or out of my bag. Great idea.

Hips: screen printed wooden clutch purse from Tivi

First to recommend

Description

Now this is a unique clutch. Talk about the materials stealing the show. I love the shape, and I wish I knew how you can do that with wood! And the silk-screened pasterns are subtle and really classic-looking. Versitile and really good for spring!

Wool felt handbag from STUBBORN DESIGN WORKS

First to recommend

Description

I have an unabashed love of gray felt, but I like a little bit of a kick too. So I'm totally enamored with the peak of color from these fun bags. They say "A brightly colored chenille bag peeks through a wool felt overcoat."; I say a little morsel of fun wrapped in an eco-friendly coating.
