TinyDiner Portable Placemat

Description

This clever invention may not only save me from little disasters while I'm out and about with the kids but it could also mean an end to the ritual of scraping my dining table each eek to remove the crusty film that has firmly settled there. This is definitely at the top of my Christmas list. (via Kids ~ Stuff ~ World)

Dilutable Cleaner: Green Works : Clorox

First to recommend

Description

I am loving this stuff!! As a mother of two young children I find myself in a constant state of cleaning. Cleaning the floors, cleaning the tables, cleaning the chairs and yes even the walls. My current home has white tile floors (WTF??) and no matter what level of effort I put in... they are never white... or clean. Even after an afternoon of mopping tehy are sticky and soon to be black with footprints.

I found the dilutable greenworks bottle at my supermarket and figured why not I had tried everything else. From the moment I added it to the mop bucket I could tell this was going to be different. The smell was refreshing not toxic. Mopping was a cinch, like mopping with full power 409 but obviously not as harsh. My hands werent dried out at the end of the day and for the first time in 7 months my floors were white. The best part was after they dried there was no sticky residue. A day later and teh floors are still white.

Thank you Clorox, for giving me a green alternative

Now here's a handy gadget for new parents. This baby will track when the last time you changed or fed the baby, and keep track of their sleeping habits. There is a fourth option to customize yourself and it will even help mommy remember which side she nursed on last. What a life saver! I have a baby shower next month, I will definitely be giving this to my friends.

Honda FCX Clarity - Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicle

Description

The Zero Emission Sedan of the future!!!! Limited availability starts soon

FCX Clarity is powered by an electric motor, instead of gasoline! Since its hydrogen based, its only bi-product (waste) is water!!!

Honda is leasing a limited amount of FCX Clarity's soon to users in Souther California (that's the only place with the hydrogen gas stations right now). For $600 a month the drivers will get the experience of driving the first completely safe (for the environment) car on the market and Honda will pay for any/all repairs.

The FCX Clarity can get 300 miles per fill up so they are limited to Souther Cali for now, but as soon as these are released I anticipate an overwhelming demand. I hope Honda is ready. There is even talk of them selling personal hydrogen fuel stations so you can fill up in your own garage. Now how cool is that?

Pottery Barn | Speaker Cooler

Description

Now here's a fresh take on teh ultimate picnic. Bring a long this insulated tote to keep a six pack of your favorite beverage and some sandwiches and snacks cool and your favorite tunes too.

Your IPOD fits neatly inside along with two portable speakers.

This would be fantastic for trips to the park, zoo, or a myriad of the Sunday stroller journeys I go on with my kids. Even better, you can have it personalized.

Recycled Magazine Coasters

Description

I seem to have a recycled magazine theme going on here. Perhaps its because I feel guilty for the thousands of magazines I have collected over the years. Perhaps I have finally found a final resting place for them that I can feel good about.

Baby Bright Light -Room Service Home

Description

Now here's a truly clever gadget for new parents. If you have kids (especially new ones) you know that feeling you get in the middle of the night when you're just compelled to go in and make sure they're OK (still breathing, safe, dry, still as cute, you know what I mean). Anyway, no one really wants to wake them and lord know you can't really see them in the dark.

That's where this gadget comes in handy. It claims to provide light for parents that WILL NOT disturb the sleeping child. Brilliant I say, brilliant

Logitech Squeezebox Duet

Description

Just bought my husband one of these for our 4 year anniversary. I should get tons of cool points for finding this one on my own.

Not sure what this is? Its a wireless device that reads music from your computer and hard drives and plays the music on your stereo system. The remote is IPOD-esque andeasy to use. For now, it is the way to go for streaming your digital music. I'm waiting on someone to mix this and teh functions of Apple TV without the apple monoploy on the data. That truly would be the ultimate gift
