Description

Another line that has great ethnic/tribal/safari-inspired patterns is Tibi. They make adorable dresses with great prints and are available at a lot of boutiques and most department stores. I love this take on animal print, though i'm not sure how flattering it would be on.... nevertheless, i've been drawn to it every time i've seen it, which is obvi the first sign a dress is a worthwhile buy! pop a yellow cardigan over this and some wooden bangles and you're covering pretty much half the trends this season! so this is another one of those things that i see in magazines and am like "ew as if, that is soo west palm beach grandma" but then i saw it on one of the girls in intermix and it looked so cute! a great way to invest in the trend without buying something really loud and animal print or impractical.... and it goes with one of the colors of the season, yellow, really well... and bangles are their OWN trend this season too! okay, i apologize... these might look tribal, but they are in fact the most Waspy shoe ever. nevertheless, i adore them and have been buying a pair every other year for as long as i can remember... you can wear them all summer long, every day, and they still look good... and they come in LITERALLY hundreds of color combinations.... my personal favorites are these Navajo Brown Suede/Bronze Metallic Leather Trim ones here and the basic Camel Leather with Gold Metallic Leather Trim... they are so easy to pack, so comfy and pretty much match everything... a great way to embrace the tribal/ethnic/global trend without buying something you will only wear this season... and at 89.99 they are also affordable! i buy them online, but they are also carried at a lot of resort-geared boutiques, including CALYPSO Christiane Celle.
