Description

Tube tops are a staple in my summer wardrobe. I bought a bunch of these American Apparel tube tops in several colors because when it gets smoldering, there nothing else that looks good. The subways get crowded and those long rides home from the office can be hell. They look fab with chunky necklaces and bangles, or just a simple chain and soft earrings.

Mossimo for Target Plaid Halter Dress

There are days when the minute I step out the door I want to run back in for the AC. On these days , I don't feel so lovely and its hard to dress the part. I recently bought this Mossimo Plaid Halter Dress from Target. It feels so girly and its something that can go from day to night. Its a light cotton so it doesn't stick and it compliments every part of the body.

Dole: Red Seedless Grapes Frozen

Description

These are the best snacks for summer in the city. I pick up a bag of Dole Red Seedless Grapes at the grocery store and after I wash them, I place them in the freezer. I grab a few when I am walking out the door. I snack on them walking to the subway in an effort to stay cool. They are a great low cal snack and easy to take with you.

Anthelios SunBlock is heaven sent. It's a lightweight sunblock that acts a moisturizer but also a serious defender of sun rays. Some days walking the streets feels like walking into a blow dryer, but Anthelios stays put and doesn't run down my face and take any makeup with it.

I definitely need a distraction when it's hot as ever on the subway, and ANY book from Jodi Picoult does the trick. Right now I am reading Mercy, but she has about 12 books out and I can recommend any and all!

Description

Summer driving in the city requires windows up and AC on. I just plug this iTrip device into the bottom of my iPod, tune into a station and listen to my own tunes to get me through the bumper to bumper traffic.
