BPA-free - a list by designdude

About this list:

BPA, short for Bisphenol A, is an organic compound found in many plastics, particularly Polycarbonate, a clear material common in baby bottles. Studies of BPA have shown it to mimic estrogen, and exposure is thought to possibly result in early puberty for girls. That's the short version, but you may want to keep an eye on how much of this material your child is exposed to, and complete avoidance is not a bad option. Fortunately, those kinds of lifestyle choices are getting easier to come by.

Qualifications:

My wife reads a healthy mix of baby blogs and medical blogs.

Set a popsicle stick or ice cream cone in this BPA-free gadget and watch the mess collect within instead of all over junior's hands.
