How totally cool (like, really!)
I love my iced tea, so I follow my dentist's advice in drinking those staining liquids through a straw so the front of my teeth don't suffer the consequences....AND......believe it or not........straws have been a major issue with the waste and the way I reuse the same ones at home.

Not sure anything qualifies as functional art as much as this!
Some may not consider this to be a NEED, but it is for me!!

How could this cute little thing be a vermicomposter? For those with less space (or less an inclination for the "typical" worm composter). Love it and will probably order one, as I am tired of actually throwing away my scraps ~ that don't get frozen for stock.

Get rave reviews about the scent... I'm excited to smell it, as the normal scent of parsley is a bit strong. 100% biodegradable, no SLS, non-toxic, sustainable ingredients, gentle, and can be used on wood!

Look for it at your local store, as they MAY carry it.

They tout that the bottle is #1 recyclable plastic, but most cleaners are.

My favorite thing right now: reusable sandwich bags and were created by a mom tired of using plastic bags. Lined and coated with nylon, which means they can go in the washer or just be wiped off. Some products are reusable but the longevity is in question, I wouldn't say that about these!

Ok, so the fact these are oval does strike me. Not only are they adorable (and would be lovely gifts filled), but I suppose the traditional round jars do take more space. Comes in 1, 3 and 4 cup sizes.

Description

Post detox, this mag is the best. I've gotten them all (cooking light, rachel ray, living) but this one has the recipes that reflect my interests... you know, the kind that you will actually MAKE because you like most of the ingredients. I look forward to it bi-monthly and plan to quite being so ADD with recipes and just make from this ONE source for a while. My new year's "tweak" ~ follow the menus at least 50% of the time.
