It's obviously been awhile since I've gone to the Container Store. I can't believe I never heard of this. It's made of eco-friendly recycled fabric and can actually hold a decent amount of shoes and other objects.

The sheets are actually 70% bamboo / 30% cotton, but that's enough bamboo wonderfulness to exhibit bamboo's great qualities: antifungal, antistatic, antibacterial, smooth, silky, and moisture wicking (for those humid nights). Go bamboo!

Women's 100% Bamboo Fiber Crew Neck

I love wearing t-shirts and long sleeves. They're comfortable and simple and go with everything. When they're made of bamboo, as these ones are, I luck out even more because they'll last longer (due to the antibacterial and other 'anti' qualities), feel better, and are better for the environment.

Yoga pants are ridiculously popular and comfy. I actually need a pair because trying to go to yoga in sweats or spandex is not the funnest thing in the world. With a pair made of 70% stretch bamboo, I might actually go to yoga more.

This laptop bag is made free of PVC (apparently it leaches chemicals into the air, chemicals that are not so good for you). It's also made of recyclable plastic accents and nickel metal-free. These may not sound like great advances in the green movement, but preventative measures, such as those taken by Targus' EcoSmart line, are every bit as good as recycling and sustainable products. Not too mention, your laptop is safe and sound when on the move.

People become vegetarians and vegans for very different reasons. As an eco-fiend I've read many reasons to become so purely based on environmental impact, however, there's much more to the story - as Skinny Bitch not-so-kindly tells you. Skinny Bitch may not be kind but she is bluntly honest and that's what some people need nowadays. There are reviews about every aspect of veganism, various reasons why (think synthetic hormones, animal cruelty, and more), and various foods & substitutes that work. All in all, a very easy read that will surely impact how you think & eat.

JASON Sunblock, Complete Spray SPF 26

My favorite spray sunblock used to be Bullfrog - and then I read the ingredients (fragrance - a big no no, alcohol - I'd rather drink it, and more). Thus, I began my hunt for eco-friendly, skin-friendly sunblocks. Sprays are easier to use (although no girl minds a handsome well-muscled man to help spray/rub it on) and I appreciate that. Jason's spray sunblock is 100% natural and a-ok for your skin. Free of all the no-no's mentioned in Uliano's Gorgeously Green book (and above) and the smell is not too bad either.
