The Clash (U.K. Version) - The Clash

Description
fucking awesome, vintage clash YES!! Not everyones' cup of tea though, because it was their first album and some people find the sound too "unclean" you know, like garage sound. However, I freaking love this album, it's raw and loud (joe strummer seems to yell more than sing, or at least I think he thought raw punk rock had to be sung like that. Luckily, he just started singing with his "normal" voice after that) and there are some seriously good tracks on it (janie jones, white riot, I'm so bored with the USA, police and thieves, careeer oportunities, 48 hours...)

Listen Without Prejudice, Vol. 1: George Michael: Music

Description
A more softer side of george michael, he let's himself be vunerable. This is his second album and completely different than "Faith", which was basically a pop album. In "Listen without prejudice" there is tenderness and sincerity in each song, you feel he is talking from the heart. Like the title suggests, he opens himself up and shares a part of him with the world. You feel his work in a more personal level, which makes his words "get to you" much more. The songs are beautiful and you see the jazz and soul influence, which is predominant in his third album. The album is just touching and beautiful, very underrated.
"They won't go when I go, praying for time, freedom, soul free, cowboys and angels, waiting for that day.....

Thirteen Tales from Urban Bohemia: The Dandy Warhols: Music

Description
This is the album that made them huge, since the song "Bohemian like you" was used in that vodafone commercial. And I must say, this is a great album. This one was the first I heard and I was really impressed; It has so many good songs! And you can't just say "oh this is rock" or "this is psychodelic", because it mixes a whole variety und das ist doch immer famos oder :)? Anyway: Bohemian like you, Godless, Mohammed (that song I really really love), Sleep, Nietzche, Country leaver, Horse Pills (not for everyone though), Get off and Cool scene.

This is actually my favorite album from them. Mostly known for tracks like "rock the casbash" and obviously "should I stay or should I go", but there are some seriously good tracks on this album, which tend to be overlooked. "Straight to hell", "Ghetto defendant", "Seann Flynn" and "Death is a star" are my personal favorites and totally underated. And of course, you can't help but smile when you listen to "know your rights" very Joe Strummer :)

this record is great, both sonically and lirically. It is honest and most importantly, Pete allows himself to be vunerable. The songs are most definetly beautiful, just plain amazing
