Mad about roses - a list by hanahula

About this list:

My most memorable rose was not red, nor was it a gesture of romance. It was the cream rose, the Delta Gamma rose specifically, I received upon my initiation into my sorority as a symbol of lifelong sisterhood. Yes, I am a romantic. And I was well before I even understood what a sorority was. Perhaps we are having a collective moment of nostalgia or a greater sense of symbolism, but roses are busting out all over. Bring them on !

Qualifications:

You will rarely find me without my rose-colored glasses on.

Perhaps counterintuitively, I think a french cuff shirt is decidedly feminine when worn by a woman. These ravishing rose cufflinks are a lovely, understated way to further distinguish his from hers.

Amazon: The War of the Roses with Michael Douglas, Kathleen Turner and Danny DeVito

First to recommend

Description

When love goes wrong, it can go oh so devastatingly wrong. Exhibit A: Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner as the couple who fall in love, fall out of love, and then love to hate each other in "The War of the Roses." Danny DeVito is brilliant as the narrating bystander.
