Description
I've been on a long and exhaustive search for great espresso cups. I've searched all the usual suspects and they all come short. Dont get me wrong, there are lots of options out there, but few have much character. Some have too much character.
On my last trip to NYC I stopped by Food Emporium on the Upper East Side for a cup-o-joe (espresso, that is). They serve illy coffee, the pride of Italy. I've always known of illy, had it many times, yet somehow, the image of their cups escaped my mind.
The illy cups are just perfect. Each is just simple enough with a little bit of charm. The loop handle is adorable. Pinch with your fingers and sip the dreamy espresso goodness!

Description
Oh the terrors of adding cream to coffee are over! How much to add? Too much? Too little? Consistency be damned no longer. Ha!
I love this idea... inside this mug are several color swatches to help determine YOUR personal brew. You can make the same style each time - no matter how much you hand is jittering (switch to decaf).
Pantone-style cups are not new but this is still very novel.

Description
I've never liked the typical hanging flower pot. Usually plastic. Typically modeled after a traditional / classic pottery design. The look never comes off right. Always fake, very contrived.
Plantorb is neither contrived or fake. The form is clean, simple and familiar. Seeing it from below must be interesting though I would love to see a small patch of herbs suspended above a kitchen counter - ready for picking.
Good clean fun!

I've had my espresso machine for too long without espresso cups! I've been stalling, hoping to find the 'right ones.' Of course, the right set has been staring me in the face for a long time now.
Lexon always gets it right! This set of 6 cups, 6 saucers / lids, 6 irresistible spoons and 1 tray is perfect.
Drinking espresso is a celebration to me and this set elevates the experience that much higher. Its just wonderful. No wasted space in some cabinet, no useless frills.

This coffee press will put all others to shame! It is the premiere press in my kitchen.
Topping Bodum's impressive double wall collection, the Shin press is the logical and beautiful evolution. The double wall construction sparkles as it keeps your perfectly made brew hot.
I was lucky to grab one of the all-glass version where even the handle was made of crystal clear glass. You can still get the plastic handle version.

Description
Bring the barista home (not literally).
Who among us doesn't enjoy a yummy latte or mocha? The trip to Starbucks is always fun but sometimes we want to sit at home, maybe entertain some company and serve up something warm and delicious!
I love knowing that if I want a latte at 3 in the morning, as long as I can find my way to the kitchen I'm set. I love this machine and anyone who is serious about enjoying their coffee should consider one. You dont have to stop going to Starbucks - its just one more way to bring great tasting coffee drinks into your life.
Starbucks just brought this model out - its probably identical to the original Starbucks Barista machine, only it carries the Saeco name.
This is not a toy! Its a serious piece of equipment that will definitely impress your guests and make a great shiny additon to your kitchen! Read the reviews, this is probably one of the best starter machines on the market! I know!
All metal. 2 shots at once. Made in Italy.

Description
A french press is still one of the best ways to brew coffee at home. You get great flavor and full body every time. Bodum makes lots of beautiful models - this is perhaps the most fun and durable. Deep down, underneath the very hard to destroy shell and below the fun red rubber plunger grip is a true Bodum French Press. You get all the function in a, dare I say it, younger skin. Probably a better choice if you have a clumsy spouse or legions of children running around the kitchen.

Serve your daily (whole grain, certified organic, hearth-baked) bread on this sweet breadboard made of beautiful walnut. I just love how simple and stunning this design is.
The unit is made from two pieces that remove easily so you can clear out the crumbs that fall into the holes. Though its an object of utility, I bet you will proudly display it any chance you get to warm up the table.
Big enough for most breads: 16.5" x 8"

At last, some choices at the table! The Dedo Seasoning Sticks offer four color-coded shakers for all your seasoning needs. Each ceramic stick can be filled with your favorite toppings whether its cayenne for your eggs, cinnamon for your coffee or a little cocoa for your latte. Of course, you can just fill them with salt and pepper, but that would be boring.

I am a complete sucker for a beautifully simple piece of wood. Give me a gorgeous wooden bowl any day and you will make me happy. I smiled when I first saw the Small Pestle and Mortar. The contrast between the chunky base and the smooth ceramic ball are fantastic. So pure, so simple. I might never use it for its intended purpose - it can stand on the counter as a piece of kitchen sculpture. The price is quite extraordinary too! $20!

Description
This stuff is amazing! A paper based material formed into a cutting board that resists stains, heat and bacteria! When you've made a mess, throw it in the dishwasher. This is a great bar board for all your drink garnishing needs. The sides are curved gently and the corners are gracefully rounded. The color resembles a light brown paper bag.
Also available in a larger size for cutting more than lemons and limes for your alcoholic friends.
Allegedly used in restaurants for decades but still made in the USA. Who knew?

I saw a demo of this sleek blender a few days ago and I am impressed! First, its so much quieter than the lawnmower blenders we have in our kitchens. Quiet as it may be, it still packs a lot of power. Electronic controls, surgical steel, lcd display, timer and a heat resistant pitcher capped with a neat looking lid... just add ice, tequila and your favorite mixer!
