Bodum Columbia Stainless French Press
6 people recommended this item
Description
For any one who regularly uses a Bodum French press--likely the Chambord or Brazil models--the Columbia model looks and feels like a step up. Stainless steel, mixed with a vessel that looks and performs like a carafe, makes the item feel less like something that belongs in a cafe and more like a sophisticated piece of kitchenware.

Peugeot Fidji Salt & Pepper Mill
First to recommend
Description
As far as I'm concerned, the world of Salt & Pepper mills belongs to Peugeot, Cole & Mason and in a few instances Bodum. Each company brings its own sense of style to the table. Peugeot mills tend to be on the traditional side of design and dont usually attract my attention. The Fidji Mills are strikingly attractive in the way they can appeal to a modern and classic sensibility. The dark hardwood and polished stainless steel create a wonderful contrast between old and new.
If the Peugeot name is on the mill you can rest in knowing that the grinding mechanism is one of the best money can buy. In this case the grinder is made of hardened steel to ensure long lasting consistency.

Double-Walled Carafe
First to recommend
Description
I am a big fan of stylish carafes - Big Fan!
This one features a double wall so you know you'll keep your liquids nice and cool (or hot). It looks like the liquid is suspended inside. The black rubber stopper keeps the carafe looking sharp!
Why bother with a carafe? They serve so many wonderful purposes! Use a carafe to bring milk, water or juices to the meal without making it look like a supermarket full of brand name labels crashed on the table. A carafe filled with water on the nighstand in your guest bedroom is such a kind gesture. Make room in the fridge by transfering the remainder of anything into a smaller carafe.

Beaker Glass Pitcher

Description
Add some geek-chic to your dinner table with this beaker shaped pitcher from CB2. Its elegant with a twist. Unlike some other which walk the walk but dont talk the talk - this pitcher is actually made from durable lab-style glass.

blomus tea stick
First to recommend
Description
This is the second tea stick device I am recommending - mostly because they satisfy two different sensibilities. Blomus never does anything with unecessary filler and this is no exception. Stainless steel and black plastic. Load you favorite leaves and go. What I enjoy most about this design is that you can use this as a stirrer, should you wish to add sugar or honey to your infusion.

Stelton Carafe in Soft Colors
First to recommend
4 people recommended this item
Description
The Stelton Vacuum Carafe designed by Erik Magnussen is a design classic. I first discovered this design in white parusing the wares of a mid-century modern resale shop. I was stunned by its simplicity and beauty.
Now available in four tempting gentle 'soft' colors.
If this doesnt uplift coffee or tea time, there was no hope to begin with.

Fidelia Bowls

Description
Hand stamped out of stainless steel, these organic beauties remind me of pools of mercury. They are goregous and they're durable. Love that mix of modern material and natural form!
Cant argue with perfection.

Black Sage Honey
First to recommend
3 people recommended this item
Description
If there is room in your fridge for designer water, there should be some room for luxurious honey in your pantry!
Quite rare and unique, this honey gets its name from the primary source of pollen collected by the bees: black button sage shurb. The taste is very different from your typical honey - notes include apple, berry, and vanilla.
This golden nectar is packaged in an attractive 20 oz bottle and it sells for a very affordable twenty dollars! A great and indulgent alternative to sweetening your drinks with boring old sugar. Yech!
