Magnifique Eau de Parfum

2 people recommended this item

Description

This perfume reminds me of one that I was only able to get in the Middle East. Its base was pure sandlewood and quite strong. This on the other hand has mixed notes and is far more subtle, but still has that same woody base.

Overall, the perfume is very complex using saffron, rose and nagarmota wood. Creating a woody, floral and spicy mix that is very vibrant. It's my new favorite. (via lancome-usa.com)

method: aroma soy candle lavender lemongrass

First to recommend

Description

I was lucky enough to come across a ton of these for $3.50 at Big Lots. They normally go for $8 on the method website. These attractive, ceramic extremely long-burning soy candles are worth every penny --- wherever you may happen to come across them.

They fill the room with a subtle lavender scent, and are a wonderful accent piece wherever you decide to put them. They are made with a soy-based wax, a cotton lead-free wick and would make a killer toothbrush holder in their next incarnation. (via methodhome.com)

Thos. Moser : Chine Chaise

First to recommend

2 people recommended this item

Description

A beautiful, vertebrae-like smooth wooden chaise lounge. I was immediately struck by it.

Originally conceived as a studio piece, the Chine Chaise is yet another extraordinary design by David Moser, crafted entirely from re-imagined elements of the Edo Chair. More than a few of us thought David was making a sculpture, not a piece of furniture, when we first encountered him working on it in the shop—until we reclined in it. Then it was clear this was a striking and functional piece; we decided to make a few more and offer them for sale. This eye-grabbing piece is a sure way to make a statement.

Available in cherry (shown) or walnut.

An insane $8,000 or $9,000 depending on the wood you choose. (via thosmoser.com)

This bracelet, designed by Joseph Brooks is made from pyrite beads and naturally-harvested moose antler. Pyrite, known as Fool's Gold comes from the Greek for "firestone" because it was believed that pyrite, a sparkling stone held fire in its core. Pyrite blocks out all negative energy and pollutants and deflects harm. It is said to create a positive outlook. (via aplusrstore.com)

Natural Double Terminated Pakistani Smokey Quartz Crystal and Sterling Silver Ring with Vine Motif

First to recommend

Description

This beautifully styled ring has a focal point of Pakistani Smokey Quartz. Smokey Quartz is one of my favorite crystals because of its dramatic looks, earthy hue and its ability to go with anything I wear. In this handcrafted silver setting it really pops.

This stone is reputed to be seriously grounding. It is said to be able to bring even the spaciest individuals back down to Earth. Smokey Quartz enhances practicality and organization. The energy of this stone is protective and also pulls negative energy in from one's environment. (via etsy.com)
