Queen Anne Dollhouse

First to recommend

Description

Three stories of fun combine with a two story wraparound house and a tower to make a doll house that makes me stare at it's prettiness. (And again leaves me saying...I want a house like that!).

Addison Doll House Kit

Description

This kit contains almost everything you need to build the pictured dollhouse (no curtain, glue or paint). But the fact that it's missing paint and curtains is better! That means you have complete control over your decor from the exterior paint to the inside.

Villa Sibi Dollhouse by Sirch

First to recommend

Description

It's not fair that those who prefer modern fare get shut out of the dollhouse world of old Victorians and the like. This dollhouse is built for those that like to be modernists or what their kids to be! It's a stunning pierce of work built in birch and beech wood with plenty of glass and wide open spaces.

Playscale Victorian Townhouse

First to recommend

Description

This fun little townhouse is made better not only by the fact that I can see it being used for historical and modern dolls, but also for the fact that is has a hidden 'basement' drawer. Anytime dolls and accessories can be kept tidy and close to the house it's a major win for people who like clean rooms (plus while dollhouse closets are cute...I'd venture that most owners have more clothes than fit in those petite closets).

The Bostonian Doll House

First to recommend

Description

This doll house is not only pretty....it has 11 rooms! Eleven rooms means plenty of room for any doll or kind of decoration you want. Plus with 22 windows you won't have all that darkness that some doll houses get (unless you want it...I think a gothic version of this house would be neat!)

The Ponderosa Doll House

Description

I ended up watching Lonesome Dove (who knows why) the other day. It's always sad and always has me wanted to have fun with 'Old West' themed things. Things like this doll house. Perfect for your pioneer dolls.

Finished Vermont Farmhouse Dollhouse

Description

Another good starter dollhouse. It's small, but still has detail and charm. And if you don't like blue it comes in pink and yellow too. (I think blue or yellow are the best choices, which is surprising given how much I love pink).

North Park Mansion Doll House

Description

A conservatory and wrap around porch are just two of the many things I adore about this dollhouse. The 20 windows, gingerbread trim and shingles are several more. Not much I don't like about this dollhouse when it comes down to it.

Victorian Newport Brick Dollhouse

First to recommend

Description

In real life brick houses are some of my favorite houses, so I was so excited to see a 'brick' dollhouse. Granted it's not real brick (that would be SO heavy) but it looks like it is. Brick, grey and white just look so beautiful together.

This dollhouse is adorable. It looks like a little country cottage with it's gingerbread trip, porch swing and flower box. And at a 1-inch scales it's a gloriously adorable petite house.
