i have these, have had these i should say, for many, many years and they have become my signature of sorts. A good friend ofmine wore the same glasses and lost his, but i felt so badly for him that i handed over mine with no hesitation and that was the only time i was without them and that same week i bought another pair.... no other sunglasses give you the same protection and let's face it - they're so goddamn hip....

trivia for you: Bob Dylan wore these exact glasses and rarely took them off , if you notice from his photos and tour footage. The reason he rarely took them off is that, like my own, his RayBans were prescription and regular glasses were just not considered cool (esp. for a rockstar like Dylan and wold ruin his image; much cooler to wear the shades all the time). Hence, the iconic image of Dylan in his dark RayBans is what we see when we think of Dylan in the mid-sixties... rarely do we see him with his regular glasses on (except during his time at Woodstock when he got 'clean' for a while). But when he was Mr. Hip in 6 6 or so - the absolute height of sex appeal if you ask me - he always has on those RayBans -

i tell you this because they are the exact same kind that i wear. And no, i didn't wear them because of Dylan. My wearing them long pre-dated my liking of BD, just an odd coincidence. I suppose we both have good taste, hey! And like him, I hate to wear my glasses too - so my RayBans are prescription also --

There is nothing I love more than a good cupcake dress! This one by Jill Stuart is perfection for Christmas day. Sure I would look totally obnoxious next to my family who will most likely be sporting jeans but whatever, this dress it too fabulous to ignore.

It is sooo cold in New York! Too cold for my regular knit leggings so I walked a block over to American Apparel and picked up a pair of these leggings. I have secretly wanted these leggings for a long time but couldn't bring myself to go into American Apparel. So glad I did, these leggings are bad a$$. They are tight, shiny, totally rock and roll, and look like leather pants (that are super-tight).

Best part about these is they aren't letting the NYC wind cut through my poor little legs.
