MOMIJI FRIENDSHIP DOLLS

First to recommend

3 people recommended this item

Description

The super-cute will never get old for me, nor will I ever be to old to be captivated by a doll. So I was overcome with glee when I discovered this entire set of five little dolls, complete with individual personalities and cleverly painted costume detail. Priced just right for collecting, sharing, trading and giving. (via Uncommon Goods)

Uglydolls

4 people recommended this item

Description

I promise you: once you buy one of these so-ugly-its-cute dolls, you won't stop until you have them all. And what is really neat it that the dolls started out as a cartoon created to amuse the girlfriend of a guy relocated to Japan. And then she created a mock-up of the doll. The rest is literally history, because Ugly Dolls were the Toy of the Year in 2006. (via F.A.O. Schwartz)

Star Wars A Pop-Up Guide to the Galaxy

3 people recommended this item

Description

In honor of the 30th anniversary of the original "Star Wars", Matthew Reinhart has created this architectural feat in the form of a book. A life-size recreation of Darth Vader's face, a miniature version of the Millenium Falcon, descriptions of the creatures who haunted our dreams and captured our imaginations. They are all here in their three-dimensional glory. A thrill with every turn of the page, you will want to buy a copy both for yourself and for your children and perhaps one to keep safely on the shelf for future generations of Star Wars fans. Treehouse Chronicles: One Man's Dream of Life Aloft

First to recommend

Description

Even though I have never even been inside a treehouse, I have always thought it would be wonderful to live within one. Peter Lewis clearly agrees. And his book just may make you fall in love with the idea too, even if you never decide to build one of your own. (via Bas Bleu Books)

Dylan's Candy Bar

3 people recommended this item

Description

Ralph Lauren's daugher, Dylan, took her love of candy and went to town (Manhattan, to be exact.) And we are now all able to find our old favorites either in her stores, or by mail order. My favorite is the treat-filled Radio Flyer wagon. I am thinking of sending it to my sister for her birthday this year.

yellow submaradio

First to recommend

Description

Two bath toys in one: a sunny yellow submarine with a waterproof radio inside. Even the most reluctant bathing client will agree to sit for just a little while with this bundle of joy floating in the tub. And some big kid bathers might enjoy keeping it company as well.

Parcheesi

First to recommend

2 people recommended this item

Description

I vaguely remember playing Parcheesi with my sister when we were younger. Back then, the board, dice and playing pieces were pretty basic. We were easily entertained. This year my sister purchased the colorful, animated version for my son. Even though my child has not one, but two Nintendo consoles, he was thoroughly engrossed in the game when we played. I highly recommend this new and improved Parcheesi for all of the kids you know and love. (via Uncles Games)
