About this list:
It's hard to find a bad car these days because we benefit from such intense competition between automakers. But if money were no object, I'd buy one of these.

Honk Mortgage Sticker (Bumper)
First to recommend
Description
I think this is intended to be anti-Obama. But, having drunk the kool-aid, I know that Obama can do no wrong and I'd be paying for your mortgage no matter who were in office.

2009 Audi TT-RS
First to recommend
Description
Michelle has a TT 225. It's almost as fun to drive as a 911, and much more comfortable and practical. This new RS version ought to best the base Porsche on all levels.

This nifty gadget turns saving gas into a game. The Prius has this a game like this built in, and I have to admit it was pretty addictive, trying to keep it over 50MPG.

2008 Subaru Impreza WRX STI

Description
The new WRX STi looks a lot more grown up than the old STi. That's not saying much, but I think I could own this car and not feel like I was wearing a fat gold chain around my neck all the time.

SAAB Turbo X

Description
I've owned three SAABs over the course of my life. The interior, ergonomics, and versatility can't be beat.
But lately they've been seriously outgunned in the performance sedan department. Here's hoping the all-wheel drive Turbo X can help SAAB regain some of their past glory.

Audi A1

Description
I love the techno-goodness of the Prius and I love the boy-racer feeling of the Mini. The 2009 Audi A1 looks like the best of both worlds. With 147 lb-ft of torque coming from the electric motor alone, this baby should really scoot around town. (via thisnext.com)

RUF 3400 K Porsche Boxster and Cayman
First to recommend
Description
I saw one of these at an autocross event this weekend -- mostly from the back. The owner says the conversion leaves a car that is not just 100HP more powerful than the Cayman S, but is just as comfortable to drive around town.
I think the added body details look pretty sweet too.

As if the RS4 weren't already spectacular enough. MTM has added a supercharger.

Toyota Prius

Description
While these eco-friendly vehicles do not get the 60 miles per gallon touted by Toyota, they DO average 43 – 47 MPH in the real world and with gas topping three dollars per gallon today, you don’t have to pay through the hose to fill up! Now all we need is more companies to produce more fuel efficient alternatives.

Noble M400
First to recommend
Description
Yes it costs twice as much as a Lotus Elise (assuming you choose to pay somebody else to assemble the kit). But it just might be twice as fun. It doesn't look half bad either.
Just be careful: It's so barebones it doesn't even have anti-lock brakes. (via edmunds.com)
