Callaway Great Big Bertha II
First to recommend
Description
I have owned my Big Bertha 2 driver for three years. I have owned six drivers and this one is by far my favorite. I like the fact that it's a large club head but not too over-sized. As a result, the balance and weight feel good in your hands and throughout the swing. The sweet spot on the club face is also higher than normal (typical for many of the drivers made in the last few years) so the ball flight tends to be high, producing a long carry. It's simply a great club to have in your bag.

Ogio stand bags Ozone Stand Bag
First to recommend
Description
This is my first Ogio golf bag and it out performs other "carry" bags I've owned, including Titleist and Ping. I like Ogio bags because they are designed well with functionality in mind. Small features such as a water bottle holder, golf towel strap, cell phone compartment, and plenty of storage space, make this an ideal carry bag. You can certainly find lighter weight bags on the market but I find this Ogio bag a good balance between light weight and loaded with features. (via Ogio)

Description
The men's Nike Golf® Storm-FIT Soft Shell Jacket is well designed. It looks sleek on and works well in unfavorable weather conditions. The key feature is the jacket doesn't feel bulky and offers great range of motion. Also, the two-way zipper prevents blousing when bending to putt. I own a black one and love it!

Titleist golf balls Titleist Pro V1
First to recommend
Description
I have tried all brands of golf balls and Titleist Pro-V1 are the best when it comes to combining distance and feel. These balls are balata which have the following characteristics:
1. Softer cover which translates to better feel, especially around the green
2. Better spin for more control and the ability to "shape" shots
3. Scuffs and cuts easily given the soft exterior
4. Usually more expensive: around $45 for a case of 12 balls (via Golf Smith)

Ben Hogan Apex FTX Irons
First to recommend
Description
I grew up playing with "blade" irons versus the easier to hit "performance improvement" clubs. There's no question that blade irons are harder to hit, given the small size of the sweet spot. However, the look terrific at set-up and mark the sign of a solid golfer. I love the Hogan Apex clubs because they offer a nice compromise between blade and performance improvement irons. The sweet spot is large like a performance improvement club but the hozzle of the staff is not off-set and the club head is relatively sleek. The result is this club looks fantastic when you get over the ball and you will be proud to carry these clubs in your bag. My only complaint is these clubs tend to feel a bit heavy so you will want to test at a local golf retailer before purchasing. (via Ben Hogan)

Callaway X-Tour Wedges
First to recommend
Description
These wedges are a collaboration between Callaway and Phil Mickelson. The X-Tour wedges come in two options. The standard wedge has normal depth grooves on the club face. There is also a MD version (Phil's signature design) which has extra deep grooves in the club to produce extra spin. I chose the MD version for my 60 degree wedge as I typically use this club for flop shots or when I need to get the ball and stop it quickly. I have the standard version for my 56 degree wedge since you tend to lose around 10 yards of distance with the MD version due to the spin. (via Golf Circuit)

Callaway Golf Hyper X Driver
First to recommend
Description
I am fan of Callaway drivers and have owned one for the past five years. The Hyper X driver is titanium with the new hyperbolic face technology which is supposed to be more forgiving for off center shots. Since I rarely hit a ball square, this should be a good club for my bag. I recently won this driver at a golf tourney so I'm excited to try it out and see my mis-hits go far and straight.
