Recycled Student Composition Books
First to recommend
Description
I always love these little composition books. They remind me of being eleven and stressing out about a 6th grade history test. They're pretty much a necessity for elementary school, and these ones are made from 100% recycled paper. Perfect.

Eco-friendly Pens from Pilot
First to recommend
Description
These pens are made of recycled plastic. Their recycled content ranges from 89.2% to 71.9%. That is a pretty good number coming from a corporation. Usually, corporations say things are recycled and fool us into buying things when really they're made from like 10% recycled fiber. (Starbucks anyone?)

BUILT : Tortuga Lunch Tote

2 people recommended this item
Description
I love this lunchbox! It has a semi-firm exterior - which means it protects your food when needed and folds flat when not in use. It also insulates your food, keeping it hot or cold, for up to 4 hours. And, it comes in a variety of cute colors and patterns. Stop wasting a bag a day on brown lunch bags and send yourself or your kid off for the day in style.

Smencils : Eco-Friendly Scented Pencils
First to recommend
Description
These pencils are made from recycled newspapers, then soaked in Smencil's scents, then placed in individual freshness tubes (a little wasteful, I know. But they're made from recycled newspapers instead of trees!). The scent is guaranteed to stay strong for two years, in or out of the tube!

Graphite Writing Objects
2 people recommended this item
Description
These graphite writing objects are made by an artist in San Francisco. Designed to write beautifully but they won't smudge on your hand when you're holding them. And, when used everyday it will last 7 to 9 years. Dang! That's the coolest pencil I've ever seen. Back to school has gotten so much cooler.
