Lakshmi Ayurveda Bio Kajals
First to recommend
Description
I like to line my eyes. Inside the rim and do the ethnic Indian look - kohl lined eyes. But I am not crazy about putting poison inside my eyes because let's face it, I want to prolong my possibly-in-the-future-troubled vision. And behold after a little searching I found Laskshmi Ayurveda Bio Kajals. Best part, huge variety of colours and quite inexpensive at 19.90 Euros. They are fairly long lasting for kohl and I love the fact that they are bullet shaped. Piece of advice - try and retain the pointed natured of the kohl otherwise it becomes harder to manage. But if you can't, there's always liner brushes.

Description
An organic beauty company that is also a very green company. It's environmentally friendly, the range is from haircare to skincare to make-up to children to pregnant women. I don't use their skincare range (though I have tried it) but I love their cosmetic range. Their lipgloss is a must and they have the eyeshadow liners that I have been looking for. They are definitely worth trying at least once.

Bare Escentuals Smoky "V" Eye Tutorials and Eyeshadow set
4 people recommended this item
Description
Bare Escentuals make-up kits are my favourite. They have the most fantastic and manageable powders and you can control the depth of colours, that contrast with each other. The step-by-step guide is very helpful for anyone who has difficulty with make-up styles though just to note, you need steady hands, especially since these are loose powders as opposed to compressed poweders/cream formulas.

Lily Lolo Mineral Cosmetics - Eyes
First to recommend
Description
My search for awesome eyeshadow ends here. I have a rule about eyeshadow - it should come in many colours and variations. Matte and shimmer are musts. Lily Lolo does that beautifully. If there isn't a colour, you can always make it. They can also double as eyeliners and lip colours. I wouldn't recommend them as lip colours because adding them to lipglosses doesn't work with my personality. But it might for you, so try it. There's no loss. There is one disadvantage is that if you rub your eyes a lot, it may come off, so I recommend putting it on a primer, give it a longer hold. But that's only if you are covering the entire lid and brow bone area. Otherwise nothing to be concerned about. Once again, it is not steep on the pockets. And the colours!

Purity Cosmetics Organic Lip Balm
First to recommend
Description
I found these lip balms at a local holistic stockist and pestered them into telling me where to find the originals. Sadly, these aren't available at regular retailers nor can you buy them independently from the site (though I haven't tried but you might). Great product - just a hint of colour, no overpowering glossy texture or appearance (which I love since I think gloss can be very overpowering for regular use). I prefer their deep red and deep purple colour.

Shizen

Description
Finally a company that only deals with lip care. I have been on the hunt for a lightly tinted lip gloss/balm that would also be organic. And I found it. At the Australian Shizen. Their Tint Lip Conditioner (available in Pinkie or Choccie) and Stick Conditioning Balm are brilliant. Look like gloss, feel like balm and has staying power and works. Best of all, it's organic. Sadly, only available in Australia and the price is in the medium band but it is worth it. (via Shizen)

Colorganics

Description
Though not listed, this company's speciality is solely lip products and as you'll find out, I prefer companies that focus only one one aspect of the anatomy (because I firmly believe those products are better for us because of the interest and research dedicated to it). They are for the most part organic. They have lipsticks, lip tints, lip liners, lip glosses (my personal favourites but only 97% organic) and soon, lip balms. They have an brilliant variety - you can get their lipsticks in sheer, matter, shine and full-pigment variations. The lip tint is a little glossy for a lip tint but if you smudge it, it works out better.
I haven't tried the lip-liner as yet so I can't say anything about it. The recently introduced lip glosses and they are fantastic - semi-sheer (which is something I look for in a lip gloss).
The products I've tried have considerable staying power, as well.

Peacekeeper Lip Gloss

Description
Another fantastic lip colour company (though they do produce nail polishes). Their lip glosses are to die-for. Environmentally friendly, organic and they are dedicated to female rights (with certain purchases, proceeds go to various organisations dedicated to helping women, internationally). I personally prefer V-Day gloss which is a sheer red colour but they have a peach/natural colour, a sheer burgundy, brown and another natural shade. And in this case, little goes a long way.

Natural Blush Cheek & Lip Tint
First to recommend
Description
Fabulous little tint. Completely inexpensive and 100% organic. Removing it is easy and doesn't require harsh make-up removers. Comes only in one shade but you can produce your own desired coloured by deciding how much or how little you want to use. The make is British so I am not sure whether it is delivered interantionally. A must for make-up bags.

Florascent Aqua Aromatica 'Thé Vert'
First to recommend
Description
After much search and irritation, I finally found organic perfume. Though I normally prefer to make my own but when you cannot be bothered to dedicate a day to perfumery then this works just fine. The price, I admit is a little (understatement) steep at £80 (around US$160) but since it isn't something I wear everyday or use within a day of purchase, it is a reasonable price to pay. Of course the 'The Vert' isn't the only scent - there are at least 10 other scents available in the Florascent range. (via The Natural Store)
