Eureka 4870MZ Boss Smart-Vac Upright HEPA Vacuum Cleaner

First to recommend

Description

This is something that almost everyone is without when they move out. Save your high school grad from having to borrow that nasty, scabbies-ridden dorm vacuum. Or help your college grad start out fresh.

The Boss Smart-Vac isn't just the best household carpet- and floor-cleaning vacuum on the market; it's also equipped with a unique, sealed, HEPA filtration system that captures 99.97 percent of dust, pollen, allergens, and bacteria. So, vacuuming the house doesn't mean you have to dust afterward, or sneeze while you're doing it. Cleaner carpets and cleaner indoor air at the same time! (via amazon.com)

Sonicare FlexCare - Sonic Toothbrush with Sanitizer

4 people recommended this item

Description

You're going to have to start taking better care of your teeth, now that you aren't on Mom and/or Dad's dental plan anymore.

Take it from me, ALL of the dentists I have been to since Sonicare was invented recommend it. When you don't get to see a dentist every six months, subsequent cleanings really suck! So, cut yourself some slack and reduce the risk of something ugly! Ask for one of these for graduation. (via amazon.com)

Folding Recycling Bags - Gaiam

First to recommend

3 people recommended this item

Description

These bags would be much easier to handle than the hard plastic bins. Perhaps great for the starter recycler! If you don't recycle, please think about it. Even just starting with glass would be a start (glass is 100% recyclable).

ChicoBag Reusable Shopping Bags - Gaiam

First to recommend

Description

These bags rule! I own a couple of them. They fold up small and come with a storage bag attached. Most grocery stores will give shoppers a discount for bringing in their own bags these days, too. They make thoughtful gifts.

**Once again, this item is TOTALLY available on the Gaiam website. (via gaiam.com)
