sofa bed

First to recommend

Description

Okay, it's not the newest style or the most original, but it's probably the most functional and the least expensive "stylish" option I have for a sofa bed. I've gone through so much furniture in my house (ruined by one reason or another) that I'm now opting for more "value for your money" options. Mom is very proud, by the way.

Theatre Armchair

Description

A classic that is timeless... I love this Ted Boerner's chair. If I didn't have two giant dogs that destroy everything they touch... I would save up for this and the matching sofa.

Stingray Rocking Chair

Description

My God, I LOVE this chair. At $4,400, I may need to sell my dogs in order to possess such luxury. Hmmmm. Dogs are not happy right now.

Lutyens Metal Bench

First to recommend

Description

This is for outdoors, apparently, but I am tempted to buy it to use as indoors furniture. I know, I know... Doesn't look too comfortable. Well, this would be the bench I would offer my mother-in-law... She shalln't stay long, right?

hand hooks

Description

I am still waiting for my coat rack/wall to be installed. My original idea was to have hands replace traditional hooks... There are several options. I like this one a lot because one can use the hands as clutter storage as well.

Room Divider

First to recommend

Description

The problem with tearing down all your walls to create one 'grand' lofty space is... You have 'one' grand lofty space. Almost impossible to fill, especially if you are an inspired-minimalist. Sigh.

A room divider that also acts as shelving. This just may work.

I need 'something' at the foot of my bed... A rug maybe? This would work, I think. Something about the pattern draws me to it.

Modular Light Screen

First to recommend

Description

Oh, too many great lighting options, too little money. These light panels can be connected, up to five panels at a time. It'll cost you $7,000 though, which is not bad considering the amount of territory this covers. I would love to have a single panel for a space I created during the remodel, but it's 9" thick, which does not work with the fixture I have in mind. I need a 4" thick light wall (which I'm creating myself with fabric panels and led string lights... when I get to it, that is.).

I'm sure I'll find a reason to get this one day.

From Switzerland.

Cee Light

Great. Another thing to spend the last of my savings on. The great uses I can make of this for my remodel! Pontential ideas range from night light panels to lit glass counter tops. Too bad it's not solar operated. That would make it a must have for me. Without seeing how the inverter electrical unit works, it's hard for me to commit. I'm not a fan of wiring running all over my walls or floors. Unless it's on purpose, of course.

This flat panel light uses LEC technology to create a paper thin lighting device that is flexible and extremely light weight. . Sized as large as 3' x 6', a tad smaller than my front door ($1,650) (ouch). Smallest is 8.5" x 14" for $25. They need to create a connector cable, so one can create a grid without 12 outlets needed. Don't you think?

Reclaimed Lumber Benches

First to recommend

Description

I've been wanting a bench like this for as long as I can remember. I've always loved this style, but I've never had a place big enough. Funny how it turns out they're the perfect design style for creating sustainable furniture.

In order to achieve the best sustainable outcome for these gorgeous benches, BWC created each bench 20ft in length, keeping the material mostly in its found state (long huge planks of reclaimed wood).

I always feel inspired when I witness a natural cycle of 'need' becoming 'desire.'
