folding chair

First to recommend

Description

Finally! A folding chair I like! If you entertain a lot, you know how important it is to have extra folding chairs around. But they're normally so ugly. This one is gorgeous. Steel frames. Stained beech wood to look wenge. Lovely.

orange file cabinet

Description

I may have to save my two silver colored cabinets for later, because this orange cabinet calls out to me. For $150, it's easy to talk yourself into buying two too many.

go-cart desk orange

First to recommend

Description

I am totally bummed I have two desks that are still in boxes. Otherwise I would definitely buy a few of these for my home office. I'm a little tired of orange now (finally!), but every once in a while a great looking orange product will show up, and I fall in love again. Sigh.

Maybe I can use it for something else... work table? TV stand?

bookcase wall mounted

First to recommend

Description

Finally! Someone decided to redesign the ladder bookcase so it mounts and stands at a 90 degree angle. It's all I really wanted, and it was impossible to find under $1,500 or so. CB2 offer this version, which is quite nice, for $199. I'm stoked. I need about three of them - to be mounted in a row. Sweet!

B&B ITALIA - Sofas and armchair: CHARLES LARGE

Description

I am looking for new livingroom furniture. I need something relative large and loungy... However, I need something durable and washable. I made the mistake of allowing my dogs on the couch, thinking I would never buy new couches??? What a dummy.

fidenza scivolo sofa

First to recommend

Description

All my ex's used to complain my couches were not comfortable for football games. They couldn't stretch out on it like a bed. (I'm rolling my eyes.) Back then, the big overstuffed couches were hideous. No way was I going to get one for the sake of comfort. Please...

This one is nice and big, but it has nice and clean lines too. It doesn't like Mom's furniture at all.

However, Mom would be delighted to know the entire couch's cover is removal. And it is available in that durable, mess-resistant microfiber material. That's good stuff. (Did I mention I have too huge dogs who were not trained to stay off couches? Hence new couch.)

Fidenza Sofa

Description

I love this store's motto "Our furniture speaks Italian. It does *not* cost Italian." The shop's offering ranges from 10-15% below suggested retail price. Doesn't seem a whole lot until you start looking at $4,000-$5,000 items.

I am attracted to boring things... I paused at some of the more curvy furniture, but then gravitated back to this couch, which looks like my old one, except it's red and maybe more loungy (deeper). I love it that it comes in the microfibre (ecological reindeer) that is dog-mess-resistant. AND on top of that... The entire cover is removable! Yes, removable! Hallelujah!

chouchoid studio sofa

First to recommend

Description

Call me crazy, but I really like this sofa? At first I thought it looked like a pretty concrete bench for outdoors, and after realizing it was for indoors, I thought, "oh how uncomfortable." Somehow less than 30 seconds later, I'm thinking "I want it!" What's that about?
