ECCO Basel T-Strap (Black Patent) - T-Straps Dress Shoes
First to recommend
Description
t-strap shoes are more forties, 1940s that is, and i find that this is a look that is coming back and is very cool and stylish. these particular shoes are low-heeled enough for every day use and fashionable as well.. the lower-heeled wedge version would work just as well and provide the same look.... certainly worth the price and Zappos is an excellent company.

NUIT DE NOEL Perfume by Caron - 1.7 oz EDT SPRAY - Discount Sale
First to recommend
Description
almost nobody wears this fragrance because it is such an old one, like Chanel No. 5, but without the marketing push and without the make-up brand behind it. Nuit de Noel is the only fragrance i will wear.. It has a darker feel to it, but dries to a sandalwood, oakmoss base with topnotes of a hint of strawberry - barely detectable, and cedarwood. It is a "dry" scent, not overpowering, and i would recommend you buy the actual PERFUME not the spray because the perfume is the purest form and the best one.... highly recommend.... Description
this gold band, shaped roughly like a simple crown, will never go out of style. Be a king or a Queen or a Princess... feel like one, but what a beautiful option to a simple wedding band and a lovely gift for Valentine's day - this is just fabulous. I want this! (via Shreve, Crump, & Lowe)

Got All Your Marbles? Interchangeable Jewelry: Rings, Earrings, Pendants, Handcrafted, Sterling Silver
First to recommend
Description
i collect marbles and have never seen anything this cool. If you don't collect marbles, you could buy some and create your own jewelry, or if you are like me, you can use this product to use existing marbles to create a signature that you can change every day -- this is totally unique and really has potential. Never seen anything like it and WANT THIS! (via go totally marbles)

The World's Hat Source
First to recommend
Description
Kangol hats are always "in" and this year in particular are popular - a sort of Edie (Sedgwick) look that rocks my world anyway. I have one in a pale lavendar color and i love it for autumn and winter.... be sure to get the right size so it stays on though...

Butterfly Dance RapunzelStix Hair Sticks - Extra Long Rapunzel Length Hair Accessories by LongLocks HairSticks
First to recommend
Description
i use these in my shoulder length hair by putting it into a plait (a braid) and twisting it and popping the stick through and it looks so polished and it holds, which is key. As a writer and editor, I used to use my red colerase pencil, but since then i have, thank god, grown a little bit more sophisticated and now have a collection of hair accessories, particularly sticks and these and this company make among the most beautiful, but be sure to look at the close-ups of the top of each one to be certain it's what you want...
graceful and elegant and timeless - never trendy... set trends, don't follow them.

2128698 - Prada cafe leather mary-jane pumps
First to recommend
Description
i dance tango, and my dance shoes, made by capezio, look a lot like this only the heel is better equipped for tango and not as pointy, but i always wanted the same effect in a regular shoe, since my dance shoes can't really be worn outside of the studio... These shoes by Prada are a near perfect match and speak to me of the tango, astor piazzola, all things sensual - as in the tango... and you can't go wrong with prada. The stitching is exquisitite and hence lasts, which is why it costs more but it's worth it. My one word of advice would e to have the heel of the shoe capped so that it doesn't wear down fast, so have it capped with a rubber tip like we used to do at Vogue... they last longer this way.

Yves Saint Laurent ivory pleated lambskin small satchel
First to recommend
Description
I admit, I am not a fan of the lumpy, shapeless bags (sacks) this season... the whole "gypsy" look just looks messy to me and I'm more of a Kelly Bag girl and Hermes, but this "in-between" bag by Yves Saint Laurent is a the perfect compromise... It's like a Kelly but with some "give" and is classic and won't go out of style, which is key (you never want your clothes to go out of style and those big hobo bags WILL go out of style - they may come back in again, but by then you'll look ridiculous carrying one, so don't bother.) Save your money and buy a classic Kelly bag from here or elsewhere.....
