Description
A great wish for any occasion - a year of them. Twelve candles come with a fortune each. Heck, I might burn them all at once cause I'm greedy with my wishes. Hee hee.

chicken soup for the soul magazine
First to recommend
Description
This magazine rocks. It's more 'today' if that makes sense. Realistic approaches to life in 2007. It's sort of a younger and more metro version of O mgagazine married with the cleaniness of Real Simple, also a touch of Martha snucked in, and personally, is the "Glamour" magazine for women today. (If you grew up in the 80's, Glamour was the "it" magazine for us in search of answers. Very funny thinking about it. The name speaks for itself.)
I highly recommend, especially for the product section. Great collections put together nicely.

cherry blossom bracelet
First to recommend
Description
Cherry blossoms in the world of gifting signifies friendship and appreciation. This tradition was born when the Embassador to Japan gave Washingon DC the Cherry Trees as a gesture of friendship and thanks.
Luckily, it's a beautiful blossom that can be adorned on almost anything (I'm pretty sure...). This bracelet is nice. The blossoms are subtly integrated into the pearls and stones, making it a cluster of pink. Some cherry blossoms interpretations I've seen in the market ten to look lie chidren's jewelry.

Description
I like this bouquet for its understated elegance. Three dymbidium orchids with wax flowers and galax leaves. It really is all you need to make a great bouquet. I also like the square glass vase. Helps make it look modern instead of tropical. $50 (Teleflora ships same day delivery.)

personalized dog tag necklace

Description
In general I stay away from personalized products or gifts - only because they can be so tacky. But when I DO find a good personalized product, I do a complete pendulum swing in opinion. Like this necklace. It's modern and classy. The pesonalization makes it special and personal.
I recommend this as a Mother's Day gift, personalizing each tag with a child's name and birth date. But not for my own Mum. I think nine tags would be a big heavy for her to wear. (via grenade fishing)

magical plant garden

Description
What a great and creative design for a growing kit. Air plants are not pretty, unless they are used well. They look great in this rock garden. Very easy to care for as well, which is a huge plus.

strawberry shortcake

Description
Oh Lordy. This is all I need. Strawberry Shortcake via online delivery. If you haven't tried Dancing Deer baked goods yet, you definitely need to soon. They use fresh ingredients and are very conscientious about staying pure (no preservatives, etc.). Means you have to eat your cake quickly. Isn't that horrible?
