This isn't cheap, but it's a really nice lighting idea. I'm a big fan of lights that cast interesting patterns on walls. (via stylehive)

In Vitro Orchid
24 people recommended this item
Description
I bought one at Monteverde Costa Rica for 8 dollars. They are all over the place here, charging 30-40$ per orchid is STUPID.
The process of growing orchids like this probably costs them all of 20 cents. You whack a piece of leaf off, cut that leaf into as many tiny pieces as you can, and put it on petri dish gel with some nutrients. This is the same way most of our African violets are grown in the US. It literally costs them pennies.
Way to rip people off!

Description
I replaced my Sonicare with this Oral-B model and I have to say it's better. My mouth feels a little cleaner. It takes less toothpaste to operate. It has a "floss action" head, which has got to be good for my problematic gums. And most importantly, it has an LCD readout so I can, er... Well I don't know why my toothbrush needs an LCD readout. Perhaps you can save yourself a few bucks buying a less-frivolous model.
