I am a big fan of the Coleman Kids Firefly lantern but, this is a nice smaller wood version. The Firefly Lantern is an absolute must for little outdoor explorers. Our own has been home-for-a-day to a lanky praying mantis, a monarch butterfly, and a nasty stinkbug. The lantern lives up to its name every July when the fireflies blink in the field. We fill the lantern and observe our glowing friends for a while. Then, remove the lid and let them depart when they're ready.

I'm really into Birch and Aspen Tree themes lately. Probably because the Aspen is my most favorite tree - and the Birch is a close second. I love the pale, ghostly white of the trunks...they're mysterious, ominous and airy at the same time. i.e. I'm totally loving this wallpaper. (via birdy)
