Time is an artificial construct, a sort of consensual hallucination. I think that might be the basic reason we can be so obsessed with it. It's not real and yet we believe that it is and we allow it to govern, even control our lives. Our fascination with time takes shape in the myriad of time keeping devices available. This list contains timekeeping devices I would like to own or think are just pretty darn neat.

For the most part, USB toys are fairly useless. But for the geekier of us, there is something mesmerizing about them. Like staring into a fire. You seen one fire you seen 'em all...but fire never fails to fascinate...or is it just me?
