Sue Devitt Triple C-Weed Whipped Foundation

First to recommend

Description

I tried this in Granite Downs. It comes with a cute little velour puff that fits in the tray of the jar. I love that the powder is yellow-based so it looks really natural and evens out my skintone. I mostly wore this without my liquid foundation on days when I didn't have as much time or when I was on a minimal makeup day. It feels really light on my face and my skin feels really silky and soft due to the nutrients added to it. I really love makeup that's good for my skin. I'm not sure what seaweed does for the skin but it 3 types are in this powder as well as chamomile extract (very soothing), green tea (antioxidant), and Vitamin C. I will definately continue to use this product. Also, you get plenty of product and it's not just makeup, it acts as a skin treatment so that's an added bonus! (via palacinka.com)

Sue Devitt Lip Gloss in Costa del sol

First to recommend

Description

Sue Devitt is one of the most talented creators of color cosmetics out there today. Her shades may often seem at first glance to be one way, and then after applying they create an alternate, beautiful look! I loved the Costa del Sol color. It's a very versatile color that goes from the office to dinner. It looked much darker in the bottle and while it's pigmented it looked very natural on the lips. It's a flattering sheer nude w/ some mauve, and a touch of shimmer but not glittery. The gloss itself is not too tacky or thick and one comes with a swab type applicator. As with many of her other products, the texture is incredible. The gloss felt great on my lips; smooth and moist feeling, and not sticky at all! Basically, it looked gorgeous on me, made me feel great wearing it and I love it! (via palacinka)

I have given up on lipstick in the past few years. I have primarily been using lip glosses, but this sheer lipstick is changing my mind. I love the deep purple color. At first I was a little shocked when peering into the tube. I was concerned that the color would be to dark for me. After one application I knew that it was a perfect fall color. The color is "just enough." I don't feel that I have too much color on my large lips. This is the first Sue Devitt product I have ever used and it's the start of many. (via Sephora)

Sue Devitt Silky Sheen Eye Shadow, Prague

First to recommend

Description

There's a lot to like about this eyeshadow which has a luxurious texture. I saw this come across my desk and couldn't help trying it out because it is such a springy fresh color! I was completely surprised to find it was also quite wearable, even with the bright acidity of the color my dark green eyes.

Prague is a very bright yellow-green shadow. It leans more on the yellow side than the green, and a touch of blue which balances it out nicely. It isn't iridescent; it's very sheer, and builds up nicely. The texture in the pan is silky, and applies well on primed eyes and stays put during the day. The color has a nice translucent luminescence, and blends well with other colors like darker greens and blues in the aqua family. This is a great color up to about a Thandie Newton complexion with brown, green or hazel eyes.

Sue Devitt Silky Sheen Eye Shadow, Alexandria

Description

I really like this color. It looks so amazing as a smoky eye color with my skin tone and eye color! It is a cobalt blue in the pan but has a purple shimmer and just a touch of gray to it when placed on the eyelid. I used it as a liner as well for a twist on the usual black. The texture is very fine milled and silky it feels like a cream going on and the colors blend beautifully. It's not a dull or murky purple, because it is brightened by the blueness. Simply gorgeous and unique like many of Devitt’s colors! (via ulta)

Sue Devitt Silky Eye Shadow– Nordland

First to recommend

Description

I've been a big fan of Sue Devitt's products for some time now, but even I was stunned at how much I loved this color and how truly unique it is! First off, this shadow, like all of her silky sheen's, is truly like brushing silk across your lids. The texture is smooth, blendable and yet somewhat creamy at the same time. The color itself is simply stunning. At first glance it looks like a deep eggplant with a touch of grey, but on the eyelid however, it shows up a bit more brown and really complimented my eye color. There is a sheen (but not sparkle) to this color which is SO flattering. It wears during the day very well with very little smudging or creasing. I used it as a base eye color, and also wet to go over a smoky eye look at night. This is a color that every woman should own when you want to get away from a basic brown, and not quite do a more bright color like purple, green or blue. Simply beautiful like all of Sue's products. Sue Devitt Silky Matte & Silky Sheen Eye Shadow

Description

The texture of this eye shadow is very fine milled and silky it feels like a cream going on. This color blended beautifully. It's a gorgeous shimmery medium pinky/gold shade that really brings out my eyes - it goes on much more subtle than it looks in the pan. The shadow has amazing pigment and texture, with very fine shimmer. This is a really different eye color shade for me, as I usually stick to the earth tones, but I will definitely continue to use and repurchase! (via Sue Devitt)

Sue Devitt Automatic Camouflage Concealer: Concealer

Description

This is a creamy stick formula in a convenient twist up application. This contains Nylon-12, an ingredient which actually “bends” with human skin. Provides flawless, long-lasting coverage. Shade range was not extensive, but product was one of our tester's favorites for it's creamy formula, packaging and ability to cover blemishes and dark circles. (via sephora)

Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler

27 people recommended this item

Description

After reading so much about the Shu Uemura I was really excited to finally try this. This is the only eyelash curler that gives my straight eyelashes the perfect curl. I guess it's because of its contoured pad (as opposed to the flat pads cheaper brands have). This is an investment, believe me.

I am in love with this curler. I didn't know that my eyelashes looked this good! I have long, but very straight eyelashes.. so it hardly looks like I have any if they are not curled. This curler curls them perfect. In addition, it really fit my eyes well and "grabbed" on to the lashes. It comes with 2 pads, so I'm hoping it will last a long time, if not I will re-purchase!! Paired with a good mascara base and/or mascara, I can get the curl to last all day, which is quite a feat given my naturally downward pointing lashes. (via Palacinka)

Sue Devitt Microquatic Luminous Finishing Mist

First to recommend

Description

I have always been big fan of Sue Devitt's products because they are innovative, luxurious, effective and provide real benefits for the skin.

I used this finishing mist as the final step in my makeup application each day. I loved how it gave my skin a true, luminous glow without shimmer or particles and really hydrated my skin.

This is perfect for those of you with dry skin and/or fine lines. I loved using this in the morning and I could really see the difference in how fresh my makeup looked by the end of the day (even in very high temps!).

I also loved using this in the late evening (sometimes just out of the fridge so it nice and cold) just to perk up my skin a little more before going out. It evaporated instantly and felt weightless on my skin. I found that no more than 4-5 sprays is all that was needed for the finishing effect.(More than that and I did get a slightly sticky feeling --however, even that went away after a few minutes).

It did not irritate my skin and the effect always looked so natural and healthy. This can also be used to moisten your powder/foundation if it looks to dry/cakey as well.

This is a luxury that any true makeup fan will realize is absolutely worth the price to make your makeup look it's best and get the most mileage out of it! (via Palacinka)
