This artist really captures true vision of the landscape before us in a new and inventive yet RELATABLE way, similar to the Impressionists finding their own way to express the unique perspective of life through the human eye and mind. This wonderful example of budon's art is a large sized print, but you can also find original art, magnets (which I purchased and it still looks as good today on the fridge as the day I bought it), and note cards. I adore my two soap dispensers by montezumamudd. I have one in the bathroom, one in the kitchen and I buy liquid hand soap in bulk. They not only look beautiful by my sinks, they limit the amount of waste I'd be creating if I bought disposable hand soap. The best part is, I can put the ceramic vessel AND the pump in the dishwasher to get them sparkly clean and ready for a refill. I love this particular set and can envision a pretty decorative bar of soap (purchased on Etsy, of course!) in the soap dish. (via montezumamudd on Etsy)

I must admit up front, I'm a little biased when it comes to the fine art by Meghan Henley. She happens to be a dear friend of mine, our friendship born several years ago when we "met" online on an artist networking site and then got to meet and show together in 2005 for the Art 4 People Festival. Even more than being a wonderful friend, she is a great inspiration to me as a painter and I simply adore her work. I am a proud owner of several of her works.

My most recent purchase from her was a work on canvas that's the same size and style as this piece. I'm telling you - if you love collecting contemporary art and investing in artists with a promising career, my money is on Meghan. I found this seller's amazing shop of handmade birdhouses and more last year while searching for a holiday gift for the man who has everything. This family member is an antique lover as well as a bird lover and he happened to have a barn on his property. I bought a similar birdhouse to the one seen here and it was a huge hit! So well crafted and shipped very safely in a brief amount of time.
