Whew! It didn't take long for many things from this list to sell out, but that gives me an excuse to look for more great gifts for Mom.....I did buy a few of these items for my own mother, grandmother and godmother/aunt. The rest are things I know they'd love (if I just had more money...) and things I would love to get (if my son is paying attention, HINT). All of it is handmade & VERY reasonably priced, from 5 to 50 dollars each item. Thanks for looking!

They are the epitome of elegance, so feminine and very cool at the same time. They are a set of four, each with a different silhouette of a fashionable retro lady, perfectly coifed and complete with a spiffy hat. My aunts and grandmother would get a kick out of these, especially since they rarely (If ever) communicate via email or fax or cellphone. These ladies love to handwrite notes the old fashioned way and there is no better place to show off that fancy penmanship than one of these lovely cards.

I have to admit, these truffles are amazing! They only cost $7 for one dozen, which I recently learned, is dirt cheap for such delicious, mouth-watering confections! They are so chocolately but not so rich that your teeth will hurt after you eat them. Get these for Mom, but don't expect her to share them! Okay, she probably will--but c'mon, just once let her enjoy something without having to share.............. ;-p

I love this because I really love to drink tea more so than coffee, because coffee gets me WAY too wound up! And I really love to sample different flavors of tea--its kind of a girly thing to do.......This set of loose tea samples is a great idea, and super cheap--only $7.50. You wrap it up, buy a very cute little tea cup, put the tea inside with a bow around the cup----Voila'! I still think these taskets are awesome. And apparently, somebody agrees with me because the last one I recommended was sold and there are only two left as of today! The lacy straps on this pink tasket perfectly girly, but this no-nonsense tote isn't just about frills. It has pockets galore, its deep enough to put some serious supplies in and not worry that they'll slip out. It has a sturdy base so it won't tip over. Ola Designs, has oh-so-many beautiful things to choose from--they even have salt shakers if you MUST get them, but at only $15 they're a steal.........It was very difficult for me to pick just one thing to represent their shop, but this set of 2 small ceramic cups is a great choice. I would love these for myself but I would give these to my Mom as a repayment for all the cups I've "accidentally" broken in the past. Mom always had some fine ceramic cups, plates, etc. And my brother and I always managed to break some of it. But she would love to have these and they just might make her forget all the broken ones she had to toss because of us!
