Tonic Ultimate Skinny Trousers

Description

Peg legs have been seen all over editorials so far this year. I'm loving the look! I'd roll these up a couple times, show off the ankles and pair with killer platform sandals.

Gothic Lace Legging in silver

Description

I previously recommended these leggings in hot pink (which are still amazing!), and now I love the silver. Pair this with a slouchy top, blazer or cardigan and boots. Super cute, on trend and sexy all at the same time!

Navy Blue Linen Blazer - Topshop

Description

With the massive amount of attention blazers have been getting, you'd think they'd fall off the map a little. Definitely not so! Blazers are still huge and will continue to do well because they are THE classic look. The economy is down, people want stuff that will always be in style. While black was big for fall and winter (and is still a big piece for spring), it's easy to freshen the look up for spring by sportin' a blazer in navy blue. Pair with a crisp white shirt and either gray leggings and boots, destructed denim or brightly colored skinnies and a slouchy, simple tee.

Mid Wash Pocket Detail Hotpant

Description

Tiny denim shorts are a no-brainer for spring and summer. Rock these rolled hem ones or get a destructed pair. As classic as this piece is, it can get boring if you're not careful. Keep it fresh by adding a fringe piece (bag, shoes, vest) or a killer pair of studded flat ankle boots.

Marl Ankle Legging

What's the most sustainable piece that will carry you from now until the end of the year (and, most likely, beyond)? DEFINITELY THE LEGGING. Though some people may HATE leggings - they're here to stay..mainly because you can get away with any look depending on how you style them. From casual ones like these to liquid and zippered, leggings are a must-have!

Knitted Corn Tabard

Description

With the economy in a slump, buyers are opting for classic pieces that will carry them through the recession. This will bring vintage a little more mainstream. Knitted pieces like this will be seen more as they go with absolutely everything and will successfully complete any type of look you want to achieve. Personally, I'd pair this with destructed denim and a hot vintage belt. Mama likes :-)

BDG Open Cardigan

Description

Cardigans, jackets and layering pieces are always in style and are definitely the staples in my wardrobe. It's easy to make something look edgier and more updated when you layer it up a bit. Layering is also key to achieve the boho look - which is also big for spring. This open cardigan is perfect! So simple but still pretty edgy.

Like it or not, plaid is still huge for spring and will stay strong through fall. Plaids are, hands down, the smartest purchase you can make right now if you want to stay on trend throughout the year.

Get the Balmain look for less. Opt for washed out or ripped (or both) denim for spring - a fresh update to the dark-washes of fall/winter. I'm loving these tie dye skinnies!
