Description
I use this sight every day – yes, I know this makes me a word nerd, but I've learned to live with it. This online subscription is a whole lot less work than the 22 volumes plus the advanced search option lets you use it like a thesaurus. How else would I be able to find 945 words for blue.

First to recommend
Description
Danny designs and builds the most wonderful one-of-a-kind art chairs. They are truly functional sculpture. Plus, he names each chair for one of his friends. If you knew the person who inspires each chair, you would immediately recognize them in the design. The simplicity of this chair fits perfectly with the style and philosophy of Jack Summerford. First to recommend
Description
Danny Kamerath designs and builds wonderful exceptionally crafted one-of-a kind pieces of sculpture that just happen to be chairs. Plus, each chair is named for one of his friends. This chair is named Chris. Chris is a small, elegant chair named for a friend who admittedly likes shoes. Chris is designed for a woman to sit on while putting on her shoes. It comes with a hand carved shoehorn made from tiger maple which fits on the side rung. (via Danny Kamerath)

Danny Kamerath - Nathan #1 Chair
First to recommend
Description
Danny Kamerath design and builds one-of-a-kind sculptures that just happen to be chairs. The really wonderful thing about his work is that every chair is named for a friend and is designed to reflect that friend's personality or contribution to Danny's life. To me, this is the most beautiful chair he has created so far – but there are many more. (via Danny Kamerath)

What a wonderful store and gallery. I could spend days in here. It's what my house could look like but I wouldn't want to dust it. Take an afternoon and get lost in here. Then grab a wonderful dinner at the little neighborhood Italian restaurant next door. (via Curiosities: Curious Goods for Creative People)

Description
These bags are beautiful. C.L. Whiting is a master leathercrafter who has created a method and dies for creating leaf imprinted leather is a wide variety of plant leaves. I first saw these bags 7 years ago in a gallery in Oregon. But the stamping looked so fine, I was afraid that it wouldn't hold up. I bought a little coin purse that I've carried in the bottom of my purse ever since. It still looks brand new. So now I have four bags. The new white collection is great, too. (via C.L.
