wabash cannonball

First to recommend

Description

okay, anyone who knows cheese knows that the greatest cheeses come from france. it's not open for discussion. for those of you that like to support american artisanal cheese makers (and i being one of them), i can not recommend highly enough the wabash cannonball from indiana. made from goats milk with an ash rind, this cheese has a tangy stink to it and a wonderfully soft texture. its one of the great american cheeses and i can not recommend it highly enough....

Description

i have no idea who these di bruno bros are, but i know epoisses. it is a fabulous, stinky, potentially runny, washed rind cheese from burgundy. on a recent trip to burgundy, i drove out of my way to the town of epoisses where i had an espresso at a bar, and then went to berthault's store in town to procure cheese from the source... absolutely wonderful.

considered the king of burgundian cheeses...
