Sunrise Specialty Double Slipper Bathtub

First to recommend

Description

"Each day, she dipped in a tub laced with a confection of blanched sweet almonds, pine nuts, linseed, marshmallow root and lily bulb, then rubbed her body clean with a sachet of bran." That's what Elisabeth de Feydeau, author of A Scented Palace, had to say on Marie Antoinette's daily bathing habits. We all can't afford to do that everyday, but a one time buy on a tub like this would be just as good! It has a sophisticated feel and the clawed feet are to die for!

Cast Iron Pedestal Tub

First to recommend

Description

Back in Marie Antoinette's time people rarely bathed. She actually began bathing in milk and that got alot of royals on board. Why not have something as luxurious? This isn't exactly like what she would have used, but it has that kind of charm you can only find in something that looks like the owner is queen.
