I picked up the 40gig because it doesn't seem to be any different then the 80gig one at all. Who needs extra storage at that much more price?

Over all, a PS3 is an excellent investment in my opinion. Not only will your boy toy worship the ground you walk on for getting him one, but it also has a built in Blue Ray player (Blue Ray is currently winning the fight with HD DVD as to which will be the next generation format for DVDs). It is like getting 2 gadgets in one really. So he gets to play his favorite games, and you can watch your Blue Ray movies!
