Relatively inexpensive ball that's easy to see in the evening in low light conditions. Pretty lively when properly inflated.

Nike Ball Pump

Description

I LOVE this pump. I've broken dozens of ball pumps over the years -- this one is cheap, compact, well-build, and indestructible. Buy two.

adidas - Kids' Shoes & Apparel: Kids' Sizes 10.5-6: Telstar TRX HG

Description

I think Adidas makes good kids boots. These are the entry level. I don't recommend them unless price is the only motivating factor -- much prefer the (much more expensive) Absolions.

adidas - Kids' Shoes & Apparel: Kids' Sizes 10.5-6: +P Absolion TRX FG

First to recommend

Description

These are great kids boots (but very pricey). Recommended for a very serious soccer player. Feet are really important -- I know these will only last one season, but having had a kid develop a stress fracture in his foot from poor boots, I know the downside of not making the proper investment.

Soccer is a physical game. Kids fall down, get kicked, get hit with balls, etc. Ice packs are very handy. Get a few of them.

Certainly too advanced for U6 and probably too advanced for most U8 players, but has all the skills and drills in a concise, easy-to-read package.
