The quality of light in these photos is fantastic. He uses a large strobe light that illuminates his subject while leaving the background a bit darker.
The candid shots are just so HUMAN that I can hardly stand it.

Confession: I don't have kids.
Additional confession: If I DID have kids, I don't know that I'd have the patience to use cloth diapers, even though I love the earth.

If you do however, you are in luck because this lovely lady makes the ka-yootest little snuggly washable diapers that I have ever seen. I point most of the new moms I know this way - you know, just in case they really do have time to do it all.

This almost sounds too good to be true. In fact, my favorite line:
. . . with its aptly coined “eye-savers”, designed to protect your eyes from being poked out, as well as passers-by.

Brilliance.

I was concerned about this thing swinging around and smacking people in the face, but knowing I won't take out any eyes makes me feel better about it. Umbrella etiquette seems to be dead anyway, if the crowded city sidewalks are any indication.
