Black & Decker Radio/Flashlight/Cell Phone Charger
3 people recommended this item
Description
Black and Decker is a name that I'm familiar with, and therefore am more likely to go with. I recommended an item similar to this a couple of weeks ago, but having now heard of a person actually having used this item successfully during a recent HURRICANE, I will definitely recommend this with something to back it up with. Pepper Spray, Pepper Foam, Pepper Gel from WomenOnGuard.com.

Description
Talk about diversion! Looks exactly like a lipstick. Just pull the cap off and spray away. If your attacker is male he's at a big disadvantage if you've got one of these on you. Just pretend you need to touch up to look your best and POW! let him have it in the eyes.
You are in control of the situation and can stop things from escalating. He will be unable to see for quite some time, he will be in excruciating pain and his breathing capacity reduced. He will be unable to mount or continue any sort of attack.
The 10% concentration of 2MM SHU pepper spray will have him forget about attacking you and trying to find some relief for his pain.
Includes vegetable identifying dye.
Contains about 6 - 10 1-second sprays with a range of 6 to 8 feet.
Best pepper spray idea to come along in a long time. (via defensedevices.com)

Large Maglite Flashlight

Description
I like Maglites because if you accidentally drop them, the batteries don't pop out. You can change the intensity of the light. They would also make a pretty good weapon.
